“A beautiful shop, with the best smelling candles! Their apple scented ones really impressed me, they smell like /apples/ not cinnamon or spices or pie, just actually crisp fresh apples! ?”
“Read about this place in a random Instagram reel and I just happened to be going to the area. I'm looking for a specific item (acorn milkglass canopy pendant light); and, though they didn't have what I'm looking for, I found a few things that I may go back and get. I had a full car already or I would have loaded it up! The prices are great as is the inventory. This place is a gem!”
“We've watched them grow from refurbishing furniture & antiques in there garage, to starting an antique store & now they have their own saw mill and kilns to create their own brand of furniture. We need more small businesses like this with integrity and the ability to stay in business for over 10 years. Geoff & Ellen are a family business that should be supported and encouraged in their efforts to continually grow the rustic brand that they've created.”
“I love this shop! Great selection of antiques/vintage and newer pieces. The owners, David and Kathleen are welcoming, very personable. I have bought pieces here, and I am extremely happy with them and the prices were good. Everyone should shop local small businesses such as this ! Support your local businesses and community, it’s important !Thank you David and Kathleen for being so welcoming… I’ll be back to shop.!”
“Antiques on the Farmington is a fantastic place with excellent customer service. The staff was super friendly and willing to work with us, even staying a little past closing to make sure we were taken care of. We found so many great items, from beautiful prints to small furniture and decorative pieces. The selection is diverse, and you can tell they care about their customers. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for unique finds and a great shopping experience!”
“I’ve been a customer of Porters for several years, and I’ve know Doyle and Dave to be terrific guys. Always fair, honest and equitable. I’ll continue to be a customer and refer them to friends.”
“This place is fun. Cramped, yes but that's part of the fun! No service or wifi? Terrible thing to dock a local shop review points on.. not everywhere needs wifi, come on.
Anyway, I come here about twice a month, as its close to home. I can ALWAYS find something cute to buy. Tons of glassware and antique dishware, etc. So much more interesting than buying your stuff from Target or Walmart. These bulldog salt and pepper shakers for example, make me smile every time I look at them. Good variety of stuff too. Definitely worth checking out.”
