“I've shopped here for years and have been told by more than one that I'm bougie. Prices are comparable to any other Stop & Shop. This store is not filthy nor are the employees rude. My only complaint would be that the clock above the exit has been broken for years. If you go there to see what time it is then you can give this a one star.”

“I love my Big Y it's my go to grocery store for all of my grocery needs. The bakery is my go-to for all birthday cakes they are all amazing I even use the deli for fresh made meat and cheese platters and antipasto just ask the deli for a menu and you can order there. The sushi section also has someone making fresh sushi at the sushi bar we get it all of the time it is nice and fresh. One of my absolute favorite things about Big Y is the grinders ,you order them and they make them right in front of you and for 8.99 for a massive 12ft grinder with all the toppings is a great deal for $1 extra you can grab a bag of chips and soda and make it the meal deal. They also have party grinders that I have ordered before and they were a hit!!! They also have a great verity at the seafood section and the butcher is great I also get filets and ask them to butterfly them for me and they always do you can also order all different types of meats from the butcher! The staff is always so friendly and helpful especially the women in the self check out she is always so helpful . The hot food section is also always fresh and great to grab on the go !! Lets not forget about the tasty great priced pizzas!!! They also have everything you need for your household needs usually I find great deals on cat food and cat litter !! I love my neighborhood Big Y !!”

“Wow what a nice grocery store. Wish I had this in Florida as well. Reminds me of Publix but bigger. I loved their flower and balloon area. The bakery goods are nice as well. I went for a quick run to get my son some milk and yogurt. The carts were nice and clean. The kid friendly cart had my son excited. “It's going to sound strange, but they make amazing bagels!!! If you get really lucky they will be on sale, and the price can't be beat! My favs are the Asiago or cheddar cheese ones, and the everything bagels are awesome, too.You can buy one or two, or half a dozen or a dozen, whatever you need. They also have a great assortment of cream cheeses, store brand or brand name, and I would put these bagels up against a restaurant bagel any day of the week!”

“Now this one true is up in the Feeding Hills part of Agawam & if you walk it can be a hike unless you use PVTA for this but the trip can be worth it. These guys don't merely sell pizza but they sell all sorts of food & it don't matter if it's like pizza or chicken or bakery or other things because rest assured if you need something to cook or need a meal which is set & hot they got her in lock (if you get the slang thing or this lingo). You more than likely can find this also got pricing which is good & the variety of products they sell is there & if you need to do banking there in this is a Citizen's Bank branch here. Oh little note I sense this one might be linked with some other ones in their brand family like Giant from the Mid-Atlantic/South so if you got that this will work here & vice-versa. Now you know.”

“Big Y has everything I want and need. Huge healthy/Organic/veg/vegan choices.. Best locally grown tables in produce. Fish dept. is really well run with very friendly staff! You will find everything you need and more here with really friendly/helpful staff.”

“So this is just based on my experience with the front store, I've never used the pharmacy. It's a good size Walgreens, although the seasonal section is small. The aisles are generally clean and free of clutter, and the store is well lit. I've never had a prolonged wait to check out, which is a fine thing if you're going to movies right after. ;-)”

I usually have flowers delivered but again, I was in a pinch. Helena, the florist manager was nothing short of fantastic as she made me a beautiful arrangement and was super helpful. I honestly couldn't have been happier and I'm now kicking myself because I usually spend double the price from an independent florist. I will now be using this Stop and Shop's floral department with all of my floral needs.
