“I've stayed here longer term and have never had any issues. Rooms are clean, bedding is in great shape, there's satellite TV, laundry facilities, pretty grounds and of course free coffee. You can tell they care about the establishment and the people who stay here. Staff, housekeeping and management have been very kind and are just great people! This is a family owned and run business which adds to the charm of this place. You won't find a better place to stay. Highly recommend!Rooms: Rooms are clean and well maintained. There's a Fridge and microwave and both are newer models and nice. Huge TV in the room with DirecTV. Smoking rooms are hardwood floors and non smoking have carpets. The shower is huge! I have a giant mirror in my room in front of the desk that I love! There's a dresser and an iron with an ironing board. Heat/AC unit works great.Safety: The grounds are very well lit and there are cameras that are obvious. I'm a single woman and have never once felt unsafe here.Walkability: There's a Dollar General right next door and they have basic groceries and others things. Just next to that is a bar called The Music Lady which serves appetizers. Right behind the hotel is a gas station with a coffee shop ( The Bakers Dozen ) and across the street is another gas station.”

“This is my first time starting here. We didn't spend much time in the room as we wanted to get right to Foxwoods to have some fun before going to the Miranda Lambert show. The lobby is gorgeous. It looks like something right out of Venice. Everything was clean and luxurious, and the woman behind the counter was extremely friendly. We got there almost an hour before check in, but they didn't seem phased at all. They were able to get us into a room quickly, someone I greatly appreciated. The room was average size to what I typically expect from a hotel. It was a very clean room, the furniture layout was fine and the track lights on the ceiling lit the while place up super bright. The bathroom was very spacious and the show was great. The king-size bed mattress was a tad too plush for my taste but it's always a flip of the coin if you get firm or plush in these places. No harm, no foul. It was nice and quiet when we got back, and we slept comfortably. Checkout the next morning was seamless and that was the end of it. So why does the hotel lose a star? Well... Nothing is perfect. We called down for room service at about 11pm when we got back to our room. The woman who took our order on the phone was nice, told us our food would be ready in a half hour, thanked us and wished us a good night. The man who dropped off the food was cordial and very helpful. Credit to the staff, this is NOT a bad reflection on them at all, I want to make that clear. The problem was the price and quality of the food. The Pizza looked like something I typically pick up in the frozen food section and feed my kids for a quick lunch. What's more, it was overcooked. The sandwich my wife got was okay, nothing special, and the charcuterie board was essentially a few pieces of pepperoni, a couple rows of square cheese, Ritz crackers, and grapes... The pricetag for this was $51. So in summation, I liked this hotel a lot. We'll definitely be back... but probably won't order room service again.”
