The course itself is beautiful and well-maintained, and the restaurant is great — solid food and a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, what stood out most during our visit wasn’t the golf, but the unprofessionalism in the pro shop.
I played here with my dad a few weeks ago, and when he inquired about a membership, the attendant, Martin, responded with “whoa whoa whoa, slow down” in a tone that was unnecessarily rude and condescending. My father is incredibly calm and respectful — there was nothing aggressive about the question. It felt dismissive and uncalled for.
After our experience, I looked at other reviews and noticed a pattern — most of the negative feedback seems to revolve around the same issue: poor customer service from the pro shop. It’s unfortunate, because everything else about the place is solid. Hopefully the management addresses this, as first impressions really do matter.

Martin from the pro shop is incredibly rude. From my first meeting with him one month ago, asking about a membership I got abruptly cut off: SLOW DOWN… Before I could finish asking my question. Maybe he was having a bad day. Today, a month later, my wife calls to ask questions and she gets abruptly interrupted: LET ME FINISH! I called him back to call him out on his rude behavior to which he responded: I LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOU AT 3:44! (My T-time)

Love this course. We play here often. Front 9 is mostly flat and straight. Back 9 is all hills. Fun and moderately challenging. The food is great at the restaurant. The pro shop is down back of the clubhouse.

Won 250 dollars for the gold shop during their Nov tournament. They were only good fora year. Now I remember why I don’t play there anymore or play in their tourneys.

Nice course. Like the way the greens were rolling but they were a bit slow. Fairways and tee boxes were in good condition. The sand traps needed some better sand and the rocks picked out because there were a lot of them. A little extra TLC would take this course from good to GREAT.
Everyone said the food was outstanding, too.

Person behind the desk this morning was nasty, know respect for anyone, your lucky iam in a good mood he said , this person should not be working there, yelled at us where to drop carts off after golf we parked them right by the hose down by the pro shop.bunkers need a lot of help. Should’ve charge full amount with greens being work on, seem like the course is going down hill. Chased us out in the parking lot about the carts.we play every year there at least twice. Sorry to write this. If I was you I would be concerned

Visited the golf course only to have lunch at Tulli's Taphouse. The food was excellent and the service was superb. Ambiance inside is wonderful with high beam ceilings. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday and since she had been here before, she quickly suggested it. Now they have three new customers who will definitely return.

River Ridge Golf Course is a solid choice for golf enthusiasts. The course maintenance is commendable, providing a pleasant playing environment. 2 hour 50 minutes to play the front nine last Saturday. On # 3 and 4 there was a foursome teeing off and 2 foursomes waiting behind them.

I have always had excellent food at Tully's but today's "Ubiquitous Wings" were a total disappointment. They were extremely dry and I could only eat a couple. Won't order them again if I see them on the menu. As always my server was excellent!!!
