About Branford House
Branford House is a gorgeous and amazing wedding venue with breathtaking grounds right by the ocean, featuring a lighthouse, rocks by the water, and beautiful architecture. The venue provides a picturesque and timeless backdrop, offering a variety of versatile spaces that act as a perfect blank canvas for any couple’s unique vision. These spaces include a patio for comfortable outdoor cocktail hours and dancing, as well as areas for a simple ceremony overlooking the water or a grand outdoor celebration with a clear tent. The venue managers and staff are very helpful and provide amazing personal care. The grounds are well taken care of, with everything clean and organized. A notable feature is the ability to bring in outside caterers, though they have an extensive list of requirements, so it is advised to either hire from their list or communicate well with your vendor. The floor plan inside the house is a bit odd and can get tricky, sometimes requiring creative planning, such as placing tables in a side wing away from the main room. However, with some creativity, the layout works well and can be perfect for a reception. For daytime weddings, it is important to note that the art gallery upstairs is open to the public, allowing people to walk through the upper level above the reception. Overall, it is a wonderful, incredible, and highly recommended place for a wedding, where the setup is great and easier for guests, creating a simply beautiful and unforgettable event.

Beautiful mansion to add to our castle hunt. We didn't go inside, or even get out of the car. We weren't there for that. Just drove over to appreciate the splendor of a giant building and the glory of the forest. It was nice.
