Jack was supremely helpful in restoring my files after I was besieged with Bitcom, which he eliminated and blocked. He showed me how to back up files in Onedrive, and now, I have peace of mind that I won't lose important data in future. He is a patient, knowledgeable, and problem-solver professional. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again for help with my Dell.

I can't say enough great things about Reboot and Jack in particular. He has the patience of a saint and is VERY helpful to the senior clientele. I have been a customer for several years now and he is always honest and very accommodating. Thank goodness for people like Jack!

First let me say as senior with disabilities, I've had several previous contacts with Jack prior to last year, and he has been wonderfully accomodating and patient in servicing my computer and network in my home when I was unable to resolve problems at the house or Bringing them in, to his shop. So last year, overa year now, when my Mac started acting erratically, i contacted him directly. He Indicated that it would need to be brought into the shop for testing, he offered to pick it up and bring it back. I thanked him, but indicated that That I packed it up, and could have dropped it with my wife's assistance in his shop. That was the last I heard from Jack. All further calls and contact were with Chris, who, despite informing him of my discussion with his partner, indicated he was the only one I could speak to. I called back several times to check on the repair , as I needed it back as the link to all the networked equipment. When I called after several delays. Chris said it was sitting around waiting for my approval, to go ahead as "obviously," it would need to locate and install a new hard drive, for this aged model (10 years), this would require a few more days. No sense in trying to clarify the matter with Jack, as he was always "in the field" doing a big job. Well, I waited the following week, no calls were received, and when I did get through, I was told it was repaired at an unexpectotedly mark up , and labor charge. No one would be able to deliver it, I would have to pick it up by noon Saturday, or wait the entire holiday weekend to get it back. I took the chance of driving myself, which, i had't done for months. A noisy cooling fan kicked in immediately on start up. This was Normal, Chris said, and didn't I know how harmful overheating was to these machine. He was unapologetic, condescending and dismissed my questions as beneath his narrow level of expertise. I was pissed, but was in no position to fight with this smug young man with many long months in tech school, whose knowledge will be exstinct in about 4 years. He felt customer service and common courtesy was meant for bigger clients - like nuclear submarines guidance systems, perhaps. He's not responsible for the major accident I got into on the drive home (i fell asleep at the wheel). My mistake was getting old. I'll never make that mistake again. And I won't go back to Reboot again either. On further consideration, it would appear to be unfair to rate this business, so low because of my unhappy experience with the supercilious customer service. Jack in particular, has been deservedly building it reputation through the honesty, courtesy, and reliability. So still standing on my above experience, I'd say the business itself rates 4 stars, with the caveat of poor comunications and access policies.

I came in yesterday because my 2015 Mac screen was black but the system would turn on. Fortunately, the second I walked in my laptop decided to work leaving me slightly embarrassed. But Reboot ran tests and looked over my system free of charge to see if they could find why that would happen. The man up front was very nice and extremely intelligent as I myself have a background in IT. They provide free full diagnostics that takes 3 business days, which I would have opted for if I didn't have immediate business to do on my system. I recommend these guys for any small problem you might have. I have a feeling they can fix big ones too. Thanks for your service!

Reboot Computers customer for life after the absolutely amazing customer service I just got. I'm not gonna lie I am not the most tech savvy person, especially when it comes to computers. I have a mid range gaming pc that needed its' stock cpu fan replaced due to it whining and called Reboot to see if they could install it for me, which they were happy to do. After work today I brought my computer in and the owner Jack let me watch him through the whole process so I could learn as well.. Super kudos for that! Then after mentioning to him that at some point I would like to add a second exhaust fan he said he would install an exhaust fan that he had in the back of his store, for free! Mega Kudos!!! He then cleaned my computer out of all the debris and dust that was built up inside (It was like a giant hairy wookie in there!) as well as de-dusted my graphics card. When all was said and done and everything was installed he gave me recommendations on an even better cpu fan for the future, then proceeded to say "No charge." I was absolutely astonished!! He let me watch him upgrade my computer, with not only the cpu fan I had brought in but with a free exhaust fan that was his, then cleaned out my computer.. and did all that without charging me a dime. Did I expect that? Not at all it blew me away and actually made my day. You can tell the Jack (owner) really loves and cares for his company and for his customers. He went above and beyond my expectations in every way possible. This is the first and last computer repair store I will go to, hands down. I HIGHLY recommend Reboot Computers in Groton, Connecticut. This was honestly the best customer service I have ever had. Any future installations or problems I may have, I will be going directly here. 20/10 stars. I will be recommending Reboot Computers to all my friends and family. You've got a customer for life I cannot thank you enough. Without hesitation skip the other surrounding computer shops and come to Reboot for any computer needs.

Brought a less than year old computer into get it fixed for what I thought was a minor problem. Turned out it was a bad hard drive, they said they could upgrade it to make it faster, or they informed me of something I wasn't aware of, the hard drive was still under warranty from Acer and I could probably return it. Return it I did for a refund, then brought in an older computer for repair. Not only did they fix it for a very reasonable price, he had a used faster hard drive of better quality than what was in it, with my permission, he replaced it for free. Fair prices, quality work and most importantly honest to a fault. Can't recommend enough.

My Dell Precision M6600 Dual Drive computer's Bios died and I could not get into Windows 7 or access over 15 years of files. Reboot Computers was recommended by my church's office staff. I called them up and they were not even phased with my problem. They asked me to drop off the computer, were able to access every file on the system, help me purchase a much cheaper Dell system, set up the new computer, set up two outlook accounts, downloaded other programs for me, set up a s

So far, this has been an excellent service to work with. From the start, Chris was knowledgeable, professional, efficient and thorough. I especially appriciate the effort taken to spell out the contact's specifics prior to signing. Not only do they offer free diagnostic, their prompt response with a quote and the issue was spot on. I don't feel they overcharged or misled me. Anymore, it's very difficult to find quality customer service and an honest company, but I've been very impressed with Reboot Computers.

These guys are great!!..They will always give you the best advise and service. My first experience with them was with my all in one the screen broke, they looked at it unfortunately there were no spare parts. They didn't charge me. Then when my son laptop stopped working, which was recently fixed by the manufacturer, they looked at it, and found that the hard drive wasn't even screwed in. They advised me to send it back (still under warranty) and get it replaced. They also asked me to bring it back to them after I got it repaired. It was working but there were still 2 screws missing from it. Reboot put it back in for me. NO CHARGE!!! These guys are good and their follow up is exceptional. I won"t go anywhere else
