Amazing seafood. Lobster roll is top shelf and worth the price. Try the clam chowder, highly recommend the half and half clear and creamy chowder. Service is great and the crab cakes is just fresh and too tier.

This place is amazing! Get here early. The food is absolutely delicious and second to none. First time going and honestly I think I found my new seafood hot spot. Service was great and fast. The lobster roll was amazing and the Noank chowdah. The mussels are a needed appetizer! So delicious can't wait to go back.

Just phenomenal! Aces all around ♠️for food, service and atmosphere. We are fortunate enough to get a seat when we got there because it filled up quickly and there was a line waiting just after. Extremely helpful and friendly waitress ( the older of the two in the dining area). We could see that she was a force to be reckoned with... serving everyone in the main dining area and right on top of it! Ordered sodas, got them right away and didn't once have to ask for a refill because again she was right on top of it! We ordered the clam chowder, creamy version and the hot version of lobster roll.Clam chowder came first with some oyster crackers. Very creamy and delicious. The fresh oyster flavor really came through. Now, coming from the northwest Seattle area where Ivar's Seafood & Chowder House reigns supreme in comparison, that's huge thing to say. ? Also, we weren't expecting the lobster roll to come with fries and coleslaw so that was a nice surprise because other places we stopped at didn't have sides. The lobster roll was fresh on a toasted bun, held up the lobster nicely. Just so buttery and absolutely delicious lobster that I would go back and get seconds and thirds. And heck, the coleslaw was just to die for. I would come here just for the coleslaw. And love the home-style cut fries perfectly fried and salted. Just all around a superb and delicious lunch experience for our road trip. The only nitpick item is the chowder was a little on the lukewarm side. It should come out piping hot.. steaming off the bowl. This place is a MUST stop if you're anywhere near Noak or Mystic, Connecticut. It's out of the way, windy roads to get to get here but it's definitely worth the trip. And a special thank you to the restaurant for holding my favorite ball cap. I was 30 niles down the road when I realized I left it there and they held it for me. Thank you so much! ❤️

I loved their clam chowder, tasty! I had never had a lobster roll so I guess I had to have it. It was - okay - but much better once I asked for some drawn butter, it made the lobster that much better.BYOB-that is a nice treat, so come prepared! I had a Vodka, spicy and sweet, tamerine over rocks

Eating on the water was incredible- especially for us Iowans :) THE place to go if you're in the area. Make sure you bring your own drinks!!! We didn't know this was an option, but many people brought beer & wine. Otherwise you'll pay $3/water bottle ? Get the chicken salad id you don't like seafood! Amazing.

Exactly what you might think of when someone mentions an ideal New England shoreside seafood place. Great friendly service with excellent fresh seafood in a relaxed dockside atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: The entire area is wheelchair accessible, though there is a slight slope to the parking lot if the closer spots are taken.

I loved every minute of my experience at this place. Most wouldn't call it a restaurant and when you pull into the parking lot it doesn't look like a restaurant. It basically looks like a shack/barn type structure area that someone put together until you get to the seating area. The seating is nice, the service excellent, the food better than I expected, the atmosphere and the scenery is spectacular. We went last Thursday. It was 95° outside so I definitely wanted to eat somewhere where you can sit outside. We got to sit at like their bar area, where you can watch the waves, boats and people going by, it was just gorgeous, sun in the sky, and no seagulls around. For apps we got the lobster bisque which I really enjoyed. Just a little too much butter for me but perfect for my partner. Clam casino was hot and fresh. Hubby got the huge lobster and me the Lobster Thermidor. I am not a huge lobster fan and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would have preferred more pasta over squash but I still loved it. Asparagus and fingerling potatoes were a bonus that came with my meal. I will be back ❤️ btw, it's BYOB ??and water you have to pay for if you get it there.Parking: Limited parking but free.

We have enjoyed lobster rolls at different places throughout New England and Ford's is one of the absolute best! The roll was filled with perfectly fresh hot mostly claw and knuckle meat perfectly buttered on a fresh, traditional New England style bun. We enjoyed them immensely while also loving the view of the Long Island sound. You will not be disappointed!

Get the lobster and skip the crab cakes. The lobster was good and plentiful, with a 1/2 lb in the lobster roll and a full pound in the lobster bomb. The bomb also had an option to pour lobster bisque on top - get it! Really flavorful. The crab cake on the other hand was basically breading with a tiny scoop of crab in the middle - disappointing and should be avoided.
