The Goodwill Groton Store and Donation Center is a thrift store where customers can discover amazing deals and uncover hidden treasures. The donation process is noted for being quick and easy. Many find it a good Goodwill, with some recommending it after finding really good stuff. The employees are frequently described as kind, friendly, and helpful, with some noting they are what makes the location great. However, experiences vary. Some visitors find everything disorganized, with clothes and toys on the floor, though the book section is often okay. Pricing is a common concern, with items viewed as definitely overpriced compared to other Goodwills, including well-worn shoes or old jeans. Some pricing methods are criticized, like selling items that clearly go together individually or placing price tags in a way that can damage the item. Despite this, each purchase supports the community by providing job training and social programs, allowing shoppers to take pride in creating a positive impact.
In my leisurely visit late this afternoon, it was a pleasure to observer not one, not two - but 6 staff members who were efficient and competent as well as pleasant, helpful, and cheerful. Well done!

Hit or miss depending upon donations, but I've never left empty handed.

It's a good Goodwill, yknow, the thrift gawds do seem to smile upon me pretty often here,NGL. Wish that they were open later, but whatchya gon do. The difference for me, is the employees. They're what makes it a Greatwill IMO.
