Without an appointment, I went to Groton Tire for a screw puncture of a tire on my Subaru on 10-3-2025. They plugged the tire and adjusted the tire pressure in all four tires. Service was quick, knowledgeable and professional. They had the necessary electronic tool to communicate with the sensor in each tire stem and to reset the warning light on the dashboard. I was super impressed and will return for service on all of my vehicles.

From the beginning, the staff have been incredibly amazing. I came in with a 2019 Ford PUI for a used car inspection, AFTER purchase. It was an out of state purchase but they still did it.
I still had concerns and came back a second time, and found out the transmission has a little slip but they assured me everything is absolutely fine. Both times, they didn’t charge me.
I went back, today, with a slow leak and the turnaround was within literal seconds. I explained I had to drive down to Philly due to an unexpected loss of my mother, and didn’t have a choice but to risk driving with a slow leak. They waived that fee, despite me profusely telling them I’ll pay.
This place is nothing short of amazing to me. It’s a small family business, and I feel very well taken care of. They have solidified my business, even before the slow leak incident.
They’re incredibly supportive and kind people, who treat you right and actually want to help you get back on the road.
I’m forever grateful to everyone that works here.

Went there for tire rotation and brake pad replacement. Everyone there was honest, friendly and told me exactly what I needed. Prices for work is very affordable. Will definitely be coming back here again. Thank you for the excellent service!

so i own a large cargo van that will not fit into most bays at a mechanic. thankfully it fits at groton tire and auto. so far they have serviced my van 2 times and im very pleased with the results. the owner knows what hes doing. price was reasonable. speed was good. they had to special order the parts but they got it done before the weekend. so looks like ill be taking my van here for any needs in the future. thank you

Called needing 4 new tires and they had them in and on in under 24 hours for a great price. I have a neurological disorder and my old tires were so loud it made all my symptoms worse. The new tires are so much better and my car doesn’t sound like a jet taking off anymore. Thank you!!

Took my carpet cleaning van to them because we noticed one tire was leaning in. They were pretty sure we needed new heavy duty springs, $900. Got a call this morning that the springs are fine, the issue is because of the weight the van Carrie’s and they suggested buying less expensive tires and changing them often. They could have replaced those springs and we never would’ve known. These people are honest! Awesome job Groton Tire!

I called them today 7/11/25 for a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport All Weather 235/50s. I couldn't believe my ears when they told me the price, which I quickly noted was LESS than getting the veteran's discount for tires at the Sub Base through Town Fair Tire. It also saves me from jumping through some hoops (going to the base) for the "discount."
The best thing I can say about Groton Tire & Auto is I hope they're around for as long as I am. While I continue to try to fix a lot of things on my own, there are some things that a lift is really necessary to do safely, a specialized tool is required, or I just don't want to do it! Tires are a good example. Major engine or transmission work will likely be coming down the line soon, and I know where I will bring it when that happens. I know that whatever I am quoted will be fair, honest, and at the lowest possible price. After today, I'm thoroughly convinced.

Wonderful service and friendly people! I came in for a tire change after I had one damaged the day before. I called in the morning and they had my tire ordered and delivered and they fixed my car all by the afternoon! Tom was so helpful and very kind and personable! They also have a very sweet kitty who visits and she sat with me and let me pet her while I was waiting on my car. Highly recommend this place!

Great service and great people. Best place for classic car work as that they have the experience to work on the old cars including front end alignments that require shims.

I’m a highly satisfied new customer. I called one afternoon for brake work and was quickly booked the next morning. Upon examination the shop called and clearly explained a frozen caliper was causing the brake noise I had been hearing. The quote for pads, rotors and calipers was quite reasonable and replacement was done by noon. I must say the service was timely, friendly, and fairly priced. 👍
