Started a new internet subscription and was pleased to see a lot of choices to make. We were given a two hour window of arrival for the technicians. I liked that they texted their progress to our place so we had a little heads up on when they would arrive. Had a technician and a trainee show up. Both were very respectful and friendly. They told us what they were doing and kept us informed of their progress. Was surprised at the newer styled modem and router, which is now one box instead of the usual two. Wi-Fi was set up quickly and seems to be working well.

We want to deal with locals, and the service for us is very good, and though not as technologically up to date as Comcast, we can live with it. But the billing system has been a problem forever and apparently the new owners, not local now, are not any better. We will have to change providers unless these problems are resolved shortly for good.

Transitioned to atlantic broadband. Customer service was friendly, but on the transition, autopayment fell off which resulted in suspension of service

Have had nothing but problems with internet going out throughout the day. The only time I can reach anyone is the night attendant who literally is just taking down my number. Edit:I literally got a phone call first thing the following morning and technician was out first thing thereafter. My problem ended up being the Wi-fi that goes with the modem was fighting my sons high-end Wi-Fi box. Once the technician shut off the modem's Wi-Fi - it's exactly what it should be, perfect. So in a nutshell is was ultimately our fault that we were having bad internet connection and speed. We have had no issues whatsoever. It's been almost 2 months and we are getting the high speed they promised, that's coming from a very active RPG / MMO gaming family. My initial concerns of lack of customer and internet service are completely gone. It's hard to find good internet providers with great service. But I can honestly say I have. You will too - give them a call and a chance. You won't be disappointed.

Upgraded our internet to their “best” service and can’t even run a Roku most days. Forget about connecting a computer or two to try and do distance learning! Have to use personal hotspots on our phones for that.

I've tried to contact them for almost two months now. I recently moved and need them to fix my internet up in this new place, but I can't reach them. I've tried on my lunch breaks, when I get off work, even sometimes while I'm at work and they just don't answer. Today I tried to call and waited 45+ minutes on the line. Each time it was my call up front the phone call would end as if someone really didn't want to deal with me. Each time I called back the line would shut the same way. I am losing money and can't even get through to cancel it at this point. This is absolutely not okay.

TVC has sold their soul to Atlantic Broadband. It is almost impossible to get ahold of anyone in customer service. When you do, they REFUSE to tell you where you are calling. The first C/S rep I spoke with was EXTREMELY rude and hung up on me. Totally unacceptable. When I called back I did get a nice lady and she logged my issues. I hope this is not the way Atlantic Broadband plans on dealing with their customers. And since they record conversations for training purposes, they need to stay on top of that and weed out worthless C/S reps. Four stars for TVC's C/S becuz they were always awesome and dealt with issues immediately. Get your act together Atlantic Broadband.

Thames Valley Comm has the worst service. The service and repair will not answer the phone. The equipment breaks down and getting replacements is very difficult.

I have been on hold for three days now for tech support. I left a message with Karen Frenald on her voice mail with her message saying she would return calls that day that was march 22, today is march 24. her mail box is now full. Today Im on 2 cell phones on hold. cell phone 1 has been on hold for 2 hours and 43min.s with no response at all accept lousy music.cell phone 2 has been on hold for 2hours and 50 min. with it telling me five min.s ago that Im caller nine and my wait time is 60 min.s for a rep.I have had Thames Valley for 13 days Iam NOT HAPPY! GOING BACK TO XFINITY COMCAST IN GROTON.anyone thinking useing Thames Valley DON"T DO IT RUN!

I have had several different internet providers and this one has to be the worst solely based on thier call center and unprofessionalism. I get a lady called "POTREEN" every time I call and she is always rude and very disrespectful. She always refuses to send me to a manager or another representative. They have no official office so I'm just having to store thier equipment in my tiny barracks room that I'm Short on space to begin with. Another thing is, I've read through the reviews and people that leave reviews about "POTREEN" always spell her name right and always capitalize it. Seems pretty odd to me.that such a unique name there is never any mistakes. Sounds to me like she's making reviews up and trying to make herself look better.

Just down graded my cable and talked to a customer rep named Potreen or Patrice. Very rude and unprofessional woman!! I never had a problem calling Thames Valley in the past. But with Covid-19 I guess they don't have any of the nice ones working.

I had an A-1 customer support interaction with Potreen this morning. Having been frustrated with several attempts to set up auto-pay for my centenarian mother, I hit the jackpot when Potreen answered my call with less than a five minute wait. She handled the logistics of the issue real-time and had the problem solved in a matter of moments. What a professional woman!

I am writing to rave about the service I received this morning from your representative Potreen! She was amazing....friendly, courteous, knowledgeable. Everything you need and want a customer service rep to be!! In these crazy times we are living, she was like a breathe of fresh air!Thank you Potreen for solving my issues and for being awesome and thank you TVC for hiring someone like her!
