WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Never go for rapid COVID testing at CVS in Guilford!! They are terrible!! Made an appointment one week earlier for my daughter to get a test before she went back to college. Got a confirmation number and everything. She followed the instructions and waited in her car. Waited for an hour. Never got the text to come in. There is no phone number to call, tried the store, tried the Minute Clinic, tried the pharmacy...Cant even speak to a live person. I guess I now know why their stores are closing.... TERRIBLE PHARMACY!!!!

I wonder if the people applying for jobs here put true or false things on their CVs. This is a typically overpriced CVS in the suburbs of Connecticut, around where I usually go to get cheap gas when I need to take a break from New York City. I like it up here and when I need something from the pharmacy this is right here, so it's helpful, but as I said it's overpriced, and I'd much rather shop at a local place.

Incompetent people working at the minute clinic. Went for a covid test at 5:30 pm and the directions were to stay in the car and wait for directions to go in a parking spot, drive-thru, or wait for them to call you. Waited 30 minutes outside for someone to call while calling their number, only to be put on hold for 25 minutes. Finally a friend told me to try the drive thru around the corner where there was a singular sign that could only be seen if you were pulling into the drive thru. No specific directions online or in the appointment details said this was the way to do it in the Guilford location. No one called even though it specifically said they would call if there was a problem. It was 6:03 and they stopped testing at 6:00. You'd think they would have called after 15-20 minutes to make sure everything was okay. Nope. Nothing.

Pharmacy techs are extremely busy but polite. My favorite is Shauna. On several trips through the prescription pick-up drive-through, there were glitches which she addressed quickly and efficiently. Her sunny personality lit up a cloudy day. Hope the boss gives you a big raise, Shauna!

The pharmacy at the CVS is wonderful. I have never encountered a negative employee. The front Counter is run well and you almost never have to wait very long. It's always a neat, clean store and there's always someone there to help you if you need it. This would be a five star review if not for the perpetually broken security alarm that goes off when people have checked out and purchased their item this would be a five star review if not for the security alarm that goes off after people have paid and go to leave. The workers say, "don't worry about it, as long as you have your receipt!" But this alarm has been going off and scaring the heck out of customers for over a year and it's time it was fixed.

Arrived at 6:55PM for minute clinic. One person in front of me. She takes that person and then at 7:05 peaks out and tells me not seeing anymore patients. Last person she is seeing is at 7:10. What's the point of minute clinic if you can make an appt and then override walk-ins. Perhaps post a "not seeing anymore patients." Was there a sign somewhere? Didn't even ask what was wrong or seem to care. It could have been a short 5 min visit/consultation for all she knew. Guess I'll just go die then.

The store manager must be blind. Inside the store is in good condition but step one foot outside to the front walk and it is a mess of leaves and crap. Why couldn't the manager take the initiative to buy a broom and sweep the entrance. Or call his landlord to maintain the property for the public. He does pay rent. I find it disgusting that no one does anything about it.

I do not usually go to this pharmacy but I had two very different experiences today - one with the pharmacy tech that was uncomfortable and unfair and the other with someone in the photo area that was exceptional. I went to the pharmacy to get a vaccination and there was rude and unpleasant employe named Christie. She has short blond hair and is about 5'2"possibly in her 20s. It was one of those situations where you end up apologizing simply because you politely ask a question. Despite there being three employees in the pharmacy and only 1-2 people waiting, she made me move to different windows and wait 3 different times and then question me as if it had done something wrong. She then for no reason that I could tell had me wait an additional 15 minutes before I got the shot. All of that would've been fine if she wasn't so rude and curt. On the other side of the spectrum, waswas Orion who helped me in multiple ways print my photos and save money by applying a coupon. He was exceptionally nice and actually went out of his way to trim one of my photos and explain the process to me. In short he is the best clerk I have ever experienced in any pharmacy or even store in the last decade.
