My 5 year old cut his head severely in white plains and 911 called. We rejected the ambulance so that I can drive him greenwich hospital for the specialists there - specifically plastic surgery. We waited hours as Dr Steinbacher was the surgeon on -call. He simply did not reply or pick up for the hospital. It was shared with me from others that this is not the first time he did not follow through on his on-call duties and choose
To not show up at work or have back up. We had to return home with a wrapped bleeding head just to show up the next morning and have a plastic surgeon repair. I can’t tell you how unethical that is. Don’t be the Dr on call if you’re not going to show up.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Steinbacher and his team. I needed surgery due to severe sinus issues, and the office went above and beyond to get me scheduled quickly. Dr. Steinbacher was kind, thorough, and incredibly skilled as a surgeon. I am extremely happy with the results. Everything about my experience has been positive.

I cannot recommend this office enough!! Got my septorhinoplasty done here in June and had a fantastic experience. I so appreciate the level of expertise, organization and professionalism the office provides. Dr.Steinbacher is so kind and made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. I did thorough research before selecting my surgeon and chose Dr.Steinbacher as he really specializes in rhinoplasty and has published a lot of research on his patients and techniques. I absolutely love the APRN Patricia who i’ve seen at my post-op appointments as well. She is so sweet and I love how she explains everything in detail. The office staff are wonderful and have been so receptive to my many questions along the way. I’m only 4 weeks post op and LOVE my result already! I truly trust Dr.Steinbacher and he really delivered in making my nose both more functional and beautiful aesthetically too! I wouldn’t see any other surgeon in CT if you are considering rhinoplasty!

Dr. Steinbacher is a very skilled, discerning, practical, and professional surgeon. He took the time to answer my questions and listen to my concerns for both my double jaw surgery and my rhinoplasty. Additionally, the staff at West River were attentive and friendly, some of the best I have interacted with in the professional space so far. Connecticut is full of many talented healthcare professionals, but I am grateful to have gone to one of the very best in the industry for my procedures.

Dr. Steinbacher and his entire office are remarkable. Throughout the entire process Dr. Steinbacher answered all questions so we knew exactly what was planned. Surgery was great and post-surgery focus and attention were excellent. The entire surgical team treated us as if we were their only patient.

After deciding to have my broken nose repaired after 50 yrs, I asked Google to find the best Septorhinoplasty Drs in my area. Dr Steinbacher came up. I made the call. At 7 wks post op, can't say enough about how happy I am with the outcome. To breath with your mouth closed for hours is a new and wonderful experience. Will take a little while to get used to the guy in the mirror, but I have time. Finding Dr.Steinbacher was worth the wait for me. If you are considering any type of facial surgery, I highly recommend him, and his staff are great as well.

I recently had the privilege of being treated by Dr. Derek Steinbacher, and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the care I received. Dr. Steinbacher is a dedicated phenomenal artist.
