If you want to be completely ignored, this is your store! If you want privacy, come to DSW in Guilford. You'll get stared at as you walk in, not acknowledged... just stared at... and you get to walk the aisles all by yourself! From the cashiers to the folks stocking the floor... complete anonymity! Nobody will bother you!

None of the employees greeted, acknowledged, or tried to help. I came in with my 3 children planning to buy them new shoes. We did not find sizes or nice design, so we left the store. On the way out one of the ice-cold looking face employees looked at us, looked at our shoes visually scanning if we lifted something from their store, and she did not say anything. I am in customer service my whole life, but honestly this experience was unique and not nice. Not coming back. Store visit 1/6 at 4:00 pm.

I could browse DSW for hours. love looking and trying on shoes. Just wish they had more wide width in store.

Last time I was there, the sales associate was VERY helpful, going far beyond what we asked of her. We especially appreciated her interest since it was almost closing time and she probably was eager to go home. I wish I had gotten her name. It was March 1, shortly before closing, and she was a middle-aged woman, so I hope she can get the recognition she deserves.

Let me preface my review with; DSW is not a favorite store of mine. However, I needed a pair of blue heels in a pinch. I decided to try my luck at DSW. No luck!BUT it was a well stocked DSW. I bought a pair of Ugg slippers as well as a unique metallic pair of heels. I actually have a dress that they will work wonders for.

I recently shopped at this store for the first time. The employee at the front end was cheerful, polite and highly efficient. I was returning and exchanging several pairs of shoes and even though a line was starting to build, she handled my transaction swiftly and with a smile. This store is clean, well organized and has plenty of merchandise. I can't wait to return.
