I love this shop!!! Everything is just so unique. Their merchandise fills just about every requirement whether it be a personal item for yourself or a gift for others. The staff is always so positive and helpful. Always a good vibe!

I’ve been shopping at Flutterby since I moved to Guilford over 20 years ago. The clothing is so unique and well priced. I know when I go in there I can always find a gift. The staff especially. One employee in particular named Jenn, she’s is so helpful, knows her clientele, treats everyone with respect and Always helps me pick out the perfect gift.

I was visiting downtown Guilford recently and was fortunate enough to enjoy the 25th Anniversary celebration at Flutterby. I was very impressed with this lovely boutique. Not only was store stocked with so much merchandise, every item was meticulously displayed. They have the most unique gifts, jewelry, accessaries and men and women's clothing. I was so impressed to see that The store was hopping with many shoppers. The exceptional staff was knowledgeable about the merchandise and very helpful if needed. To celebrate on that day, The owner Beth provided live music, refreshments and offered a special discount for shopping on that day. It turned out to be a wonderful Anniversary celebration and I thought it was great way to give thanks to it's customers and the community! I can see why this small business has been thriving for 25 years.

My favorite place! Every time I visit Guilford, my first stop is at Flutterby. Their items are so unique and special. It is a full-body experience between the visuals, the smells, the music, and most important, the welcoming atmosphere. Beth and her staff are attentive but not overbearing. They help if needed, but are also happy to just let me browse. Sometimes I buy, sometimes I don’t, but I always feel welcome. Can’t wait to go back!

Flutterby is such a special place. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, their selection is unique and so tasteful. By far my favorite place to shop in Guilford for myself and others. My family have been long time customers! There’s something for everyone in this store!
And shout out the owner Beth for her adamant customer service and her bright energy that can really be felt throughout her store. It’s always refreshing to see someone care about their business and the customers they serve so much! HIGHLY RECOMMEND <3

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My friend was looking at the rings here and was stopped by the woman working here (Believe her name is Jen). Note, my friend is black and I am Hispanic and our other friend was white. She accused my friend of stealing one of the rings. We were in there for less than 10 minutes when we noticed that she was hovering and looking at us as we walked through the store. They racially profiled my friend and made a once loyal customer, no longer.

Such a beautiful gift shop I loved shopping there very unique gifts. Definitely a downtown Guilford shop to visit. Lovely peaceful environment pleasant staff very helpful.

Stopped in on a stormy Saturday with purpose… to purchase a “new baby” gift from Flutterby’s always amazing selection… a cornucopia of unique treasures!! Was warmly greeted and left free to browse. With a beautifully wrapped prezzie, bagged to protect it from the rain, our mission accomplished. A successful, delightful experience!!

Second time to store and will not be going again.The first time I went to flutterby I felt as though the sales associate was just hovering over me “readjusting” items that was really just following me around and not engaging in any conversation. I bought my items and left assuming it was just a weird day.I went again ready to buy multiple gifts because I loved the selection. I felt so uncomfortable I left the store. The sales associate followed me around - again not engaging in any conversation - and if I picked up a candle to smell it and put it back she would immediately follow me take the candle to “remerchandise” right back where I put it. I stopped touching anything and just looked but the following and “readjusting” items right next to me continued. The energy I received from the sales associate is what made me leave and never come back.Before I returned the second time I sent two friends in separate occasions there because of their cute stuff. BOTH left feeling uncomfortably followed around.Super bummed because I loved the selection and really love supporting small business. This store associates are driving people away.
