I’ve been coming here for years, but have recently noticed how the focus has shifted from quality to quantity when it comes to clients. I came in to get my gel nail polish removed and my tips (both of which I had done at Villa) and had Lisa who was also managing the phone and greeting guests. She was very distracted and trying to rush through removing my tips and color. I left with my fingers bleeding and the top layer of my real nails scraped away. I’ve had to take Tylenol to help with the discomfort because my nails are sooo sensitive to everything right now and are starting to turn black and blue. I am really disappointed in the quality and care and hope to save anyone else from having a similar experience.

Oh my god thanks you guys for making up things and gaslighting me in such an important festival….It was you guys told me I was good to go and I put on my shoes it was ruined. It was you guys told me again it was dry enough and it was destroyed on the same day. Now it was my fault? I am your customer at least I deserved apologies. I can’t believe you guys really made things up… you did not tell me gel will dry faster in the place. You charged me extra for the fixing I had the receipt…
No respect for my time at all. I spent at least three hours here they messed up my nails twice. I have to come back a day later again, and they were like because you are new you know nothing about nails you can just get the gel one not the regular one. They charged me for the gel one. No apology, no respect, only your fault, you need to pay extra. Will not come back again.

Very unprofessional and rude. I came here with friends for a pedicure and manicure, and they messed everything up. All three of us will never return. They failed my friend’s manicure twice, spending more than an hour and a half redoing it. As a result, when we got home, we realized their 'fix' was also messed up. When we returned to have it fixed, they tried to blame us and charged additional money to fix it quickly. With such an attitude toward work and clients, I hope this business does not last long.
In few words - waste of money and time. Not worth to come! My fingers more damaged than polished.

Villa is a high quality nail and massage spot. Michael gives the best massages! He always goes out of his way to make sure you get a great massage. The rest of the staff is great too, I have been going here for close to 10 years.

I love this place so much, 1000% worth the trip from New Haven. I started coming here as I don’t like the salons in New Haven and the gel tips I had from Glastonbury were coming out so crooked. Niki absolutely slays my fills every time. And the massages here are incredible. It’s pretty customary to tip $10 on them, (look at the tip jar) but they are worth that. My fills are $60-70 depending on if I get chrome or something special, add 20-22% tip, and the massage, and I spent $87 today. Worth it every time. They are good for pedicures too.

Hands down one of the best pedicures I've ever had. Massage chairs are fantastic, super clean, not rushed even though they were busy, and the cherry on top is the back massage at the end! Wow! I wish I lived in CT so I could come here often. RUN, you won't be disappointed!

Love this as a nail spa. I generally have a fresh manicure once per week and a pedicure not as often as I should. Really like the nail technicians in this spa.

Villa goes above and beyond! I got a pedicure and the technician was very gentle, polite, and skilled. The massage while I was waiting for my nails to dry was exceptional! The technician took his time working out all the knots in my shoulders and neck. I feel completely relaxed and my nails look great!!

Pedicure was good. Massage at the end was wonderful and sent the whole experience over the top! Lasted 8 minutes with great deep pressure and skilled.

I’m shocked that people give this nail salon any stars for being very clean !
Being in the heart of Guilford and many customers in and out, I felt I’d walk into a clean elegant nail salon. Not !
Sure they are attentive and get you in and out but I was cringing while I soaked my feet in the pedi tub. The floors were dirty , smears and stains on the chairs, arm and foot rests . As customers moved in and out, I did not witness any cleaning or sanitation in between .An exhausted looking nail tech did her job .It was ok . I was truly concerned with the utensils being soaked in barbacide prior to my pedi.
I did not see jars or cleaning supplies anywhere .
Nevermind the polish was kinda funky .
I can’t imagine how many hundreds of ppl had used it prior to me . I’m not trying to bash small business and I’m not an uptight clean freak . I just expect a standard of Basic cleanliness . Cmon ladies are you serious ?
