Paul is great to work with. He did an excellent job on our irrigation system.

We used Able irrigation in the past however after speaking with a very rude and disrespectful receptionist named Andrea we will no longer continue service. Unfortunately our previous account was handled by my mother who passed away very unexpectedly on 11/11. Andrea was quick to inform me my mother had a balance, which I insured would be handled immediately prior to any new service. She then informed me late fees will also be charged. I asked for consideration based on the fact her passing was unexpected and we currently are getting all accounts transferred. Without any empathy or compassion she stated “well it’s only $15 SHE needs to pay the balance and late fee first”! I quickly reminded her that SHE had passed away and SHE was not just dodging a bill. Andrea then proceeded to tell me “well she called for service in November, so.” This was not about $15 this was about the tone and disrespectful manner of the young lady answering the call. I wished her well and prayed she would never have to experience the unexpected loss of a parent. I encourage those who are not customer service oriented to seek training or perhaps find another profession more suitable to their liking.

I had an issue with a high water bill indicating a water leak. Paul Jr from Able with his team and isolated the issue, set up a test to confirm his idea for a solution and proceeded to other customers and then returne later to double check and call me to explain what he had done. I was totally impressed with the entire transaction.Service: Irrigation system repair & maintenance

I called and left my info about a clogged line and was told they would get back to me, a week later they left a voice-mail saying they would set an appointment the following week if I was going to be a full time customer (meaning turn the system on/ off) but if I wasn't going to be a full timer they couldn't accept me as a customer. I called another company, they came out 2 days later, fixed it in 20 minutes and I signed with them to take care of my 3 properties because they took care of my problem first then wanted to know if I needed any other services in the future. BTW.... Able Irrigation is 1/2 mile from my property! I left a more detailed review on Yelp.

I called this business on a Thursday about a clogged sprinkler pipe and was told they would get back with me to set up an appointment. The following Thursday I received a call (went to voice-mail) saying that they could schedule me the following week. I understand a storm got in the way but to wait almost 2 weeks is a bit much for a simple fix. Anyway, when I listened to the voice-mail it said that if I was interested in becoming a full time customer (meaning turn on and off system) they would set an appointment, if I didn't want to be a full timer they couldn't accept me as a customer. If I needed someone to fix a problem chances are I would need someone to open/ close the system too so I would've become a full time customer. You can't make someone commit to an ongoing thing like that before you actually take care of their problem first. PS: I called another company they explained they were extremely busy but they would have somebody swing by to look at it the next day at the end of their shift and then set an appointment accordingly. They came by and 20 minutes later it was fixed and that company now has me as a new full time customer with 3 properties for them to take care of. BTW....Able Irrigation is 1/2 mile away from my property and my new company is 15 miles away.

After my family bought a house, we contacted Able Irrigation to see if the house has an automatic irrigation system. The worker swung by, and told me there is an automatic switch in the basement. It took less than 5 minutes to check the whole condition of the system, and they sent the invoice of $150 with details of what "works" need to be done (totaling about $1000 such as repositioning sprinkler heads). When I said the invoice of $150 for a quick visit seems a bit too high, they said they would deduct the $150 when we work with them in the future. We contacted that we would like to move sprinkler heads, but some of the services that they listed won't be needed, they said "more work needs to be done than just moving and replacing 4 heads. We are not interested in just moving the 4 heads, more work is needed." (BY THE WAY, this job itself costs $$$) This is a direct quote from the owner. When we replied that we would only need to move heads, they do NOT even respond to our emails or requests...We hired another irrigation expert to see if what they listed in the invoice as the "required service" was truly needed, and we were told that these jobs DON'T NEED TO BE DONE.If you want to pay $150 for (literally) minutes-visit, and A VERY LONG, REQUIRED list of jobs that you ACTUALLY DO NOT NEED..... go ahead. We learned our expensive lessons a hard way.Service: Irrigation system repair & maintenance

I had able irrigation install my system a couple years ago and they did such a great job. Owner and crew was professional and friendly. I am very picky and can usually find something that I don’t like but the whole installation was done very well with essentially no apparent disturbance to the lawn. I recently had then make a minor modification and it was done very well, owner very nice as always.

If you are looking for a contractor with integrity, this is your guy. I worked with Paul in 1998 and he still ranks in the top employers I had.
