Visited the pharmacy only and I currently have no negative thoughts. For the most part I'm happy coming here when I need to and sometimes take advantage of a good deal

Called and asked to speak with the pharmacist to have meds transferred to this location and the technician said that the pharmacist was too busy to talk to me then continues to tell me to call back in 2 hours. Then she slams the phone down and hangs up on me. No information was taken, not even addressing the topic of why I was even calling. I think I'll call somewhere who will at least take the time to take my needs into consideration. Absolutely unprofessional.

Wouldn't step foot in here again if it was the last place in earth. Store is old and dirty. Most of the items are locked to prevent theft, so you have to ask a staff member to unlock it for you. Staff acts like you just asked them to boil the ocean for you if you ask for an item to be unlocked. To top it off, I placed a large photo print order the previous night and went in the morning to pick it up. I had the order number confirmation email that my order was ready, but I was told that the order was never done and that I'd have to do it myself at the kiosk. No apology, no offer to look for my order or ask someone else. I specifically spent time editing the pictures and ordering them so I wouldn't have to spend a long time at the in-store kiosk. Pharmacy is awful, as if you couldn't already guess.

I've had positive experience getting flu and covid booster. Everything else I've had in person experience with has absolutely sucked. I suggest they shut down the several other stores within 5 miles and fire the idiots and just keep the few who know what their doing. I also suggest you just steal stuff you can out in your pocket because it'll take you 25 minutes at checkout and if they do see you steal, they don't care, they'd rather talk for 20 minutes to people online then ring them up in quick fashion I suggest Whitney Ave Walgreens as second choice

Pharmacy staff is rude. Wait times are long, and staff doesn't like to acknowledge a customer when one is waiting at the counter. This is consistent at CVS, no matter the location. How hard is a it to say \"Hi, be with you in a minute\" or simply make eye contact? It's just common courtesy. Ask to speak with the pharmacist? Expect a condescending attitude when one grudgingly decides to speak with you. I no longer shop there.

I've used this CVS for more than 20 years with no problems, but during the past 4 years they've gotten bad. Way too often pharmacy techs are rude, or not willing to help, when you call with a problem. Doctors claim they can't get faxes from CVS reliably. Once I filled a new prescription and they gave me the WRONG medication and they made it so difficult to get a refund that I gave up. If you like to get refills using an online website (like CVS') stay away from CVS. Their website is unreliable and unpredictable. And the pharmacy staff WILL NOT help with the website. Yesterday I ordered a prescription online and the website placed the order for a different size of the medication. When I called to tell them not to fill the prescription the tech that answered the phone wouldn't let me talk. He checked the order on the computer. Then every time I started to say that it was not the med that I wanted, he interrupted loudly saying \"it's being worked on\". After he did it 3 times, I had to yell at him to get him to stop! I've had it. I'm moving my prescriptions to Stop \u0026 Shop Pharmacy. I gets a very good rating on Consumer Reports.

I agree with all of the other negative reviews posted here regarding this pharmacy. I can't think of ever having a good experience picking up prescriptions from this place. Despite always giving extra time for the order to be filled even up to an extra 24 hours I still walk in and have to wait for them to fill my prescription. And on top of it all, the negative, could care less attitude the pharmacists consistently dish out is beyond. In the future, I will avoid at all costs despite close proximity to my home. It's THAT BAD

I cannot express how much I appreciate the service the CVS minute clinic provides! Shyma is a blessing and all the staff work diligently to take care of patients needs. There is minimal wait times. The out of pocket costs are reasonable. I would definitely recommend this clinic.

Do you like long lines? What about 30 minute wait times? What about having your name called so softly you can't hear when your order is ready, forcing you to wait 20 minutes longer than you need to, and then be blamed for not hearing when your order is done? Yes? Then boy do I have a store for you! Ladies and gentlemen, Let me introduce you to the worst pharmacy I have ever used! CVS at 2045 Dixwell in Hamden! I have never had a good experience there! I invite you never have a good experience too! This place is so bad, I'd think twice about going there even if they told me I could have my meds for free! Tonight was extra special, after receiving a text that my meds would be ready on Friday, I went in on Friday and they weren't ready. When I dared ask why I would receive such a text, I got the loquacious and useful response "that's corporate" and nothing else. I actually had to ask if if the conversation was over. What the hell does "that's corporate" even mean? How can a text (noun) be corporate (adjective)? I assume she meant that the problem originated as a result of CVS corporate operations. If this is true, what about responding with an empathic, "I'm sorry. I know this sucks. I ant do anything about your problem and I wish I could. This upsets me too. I have to deal with this garbage all the time." ? I would have loved that. I would have left without my meds but happy nonetheless. Instead I just left. And now I'm leaving CVS. I'm done. I know they don't care. Hell, "Corporate" won't even know. BUT...it will still feel good.

Worst CVS I've ever been to. They are constantly out of stock of everything you could need and the food their keep in store and sell to customers has been expired on multiple occasions. Their shelves are literally bare half the time, i don't get it. The pharmacy is so bad that even though I've used CVS my entire life, i had to switch all my prescriptions to the Walgreens on Whitney which is MUCH more reliable. Don't recommend that anyone comes here.
