Nice and organized store. Wasn't happy because I went all the way to buy a balloon with Number 1. And that's exactly what they didn't have.

I really had to take a couple days to cool off before writing this, but I'm still mad as hell. Y'all really got people like that Kay girl working here? She was so rude and disrespectful to me and my mom. My mom's hands were full so I ask that manager to hand me the change instead of her and she rolls her eyes and still tries to hand it to my momma, like what? So I reach over to take the change and she has the nerve to say "No no, I gotta give it to your mom. She wouldn't want you spending it." And then stuck out her tongue at me like she was making a joke, but I was not laughing. She was mad rude for no reason, even my mom told her to give me the change and what does she do? Drops it into one of our bags. I really should have called her out for that right there, but I don't like upsetting my mother. She would have gotten a piece of my mind. Y'all need to do something about her, because I've never been so disrespected before. What happened to that big girl with the glasses? She always walks my mom to her car. You people need to schedule her more, at least one person's doing their job right. Maybe it's petty to get mad about how she gave us the change, but if people like that are working at thing store, I ain't shopping here again. I'd rather drive my mom out to North Haven than bring her back here. Get better workers, cause she should not be a manager with that attitude.

Terrible experience! I was only looking for big gallon jugs of water and didn't see any in the store, so I peeked in the backroom(yes, I know I shouldn't have done that, but I dislike bothering workers when they seem busy.) The manager, her name tag said Beatrice, started yelling at me to stay out of the backroom. I explained I just wanted the gallon jugs of water, two big 6-packs of them, but she wasn't having any of it and proceeded to tell me off until I left. I eventually found a kind employee name Tori and asked her if she could please help me and she was very quick to oblige. I brought my cart and was willing to help carry, but she insisted on doing it herself and used my cart to hold the door open to make it easier. As she's carrying jugs from the backroom to my cart, the same manager comes over and gets all mad that I'm at the door again, before I can say anything, Tori quickly explains that she is helping me shop. The manager leaves and I soon have my water. As I am shopping, I hear Tori be called for over the loudspeaker to go to the office and the next time i see her, she's in tears. Is the really how we should be treating the good workers? I felt terrible for her and blame myself for whatever trouble she got in. I will not be returning to this store for the foreseeable future. We need more workers like Tori and less workers like Beatrice. I'd report the harassment if I were her.

My experience in this dingy store, very unorganized and messy. The old lady cashier is rude and tired, I greeted her very respectfully and she then proceeded to be rude and nasty. Will never return…

Store needs to hire stock associates. Merchandise is hard to locate or non existent on the shelves, because the store is in such disarray.

I just have to say Kyle is the BEST associate I have experienced in all of the dollar trees I have been in. He has an exceptional personality!!! He makes me smile everytime I go in. He is so positive, happy, and pleasant to every customer. Hopefully he is there for awhile! Thank you Kyle for a great shopping experience. That's how it should be everywhere since the cashier is the last associate to ensure the customer has had a great experience ??

This is the WORST store in Connecticut and that’s facts! Every time I go there is a line down the isles. I have never waited that long in line besides at Yankee Stadium. The usual wait is at least 15 minutes at most 30 minutes which I had to wait at my most recent visit to Dollar Tree in Hamden plaza. They do not have enough employees probably because of the minimum wage pay. Major Corporations make a lot of money but yet the people doing the jobs are paid nothing!!

Dollar Tree is a great place to find a good bargain on many different types of merchandise, and this branch is no exception! There are so many unique things you'll find here! The store is quiet and spacious, and the staff are polite & courteous.I noticed that there are sometimes boxes, the occasional hand truck, and some merchandise scattered on the floor or around the shelving. This is a common thing I have seen across many Dollar Tree branches, but here I couldn't find a part of the store that was unnavigable despite floor clutter.Overall, it's a great store with some amazing finds that get rotated out regularly! You'll definitely have many opportunities to save money here!
