Stocked from floor to ceiling at Evan’s Toy Shoppe, it houses toys and games from current to old-time fun! It’s not an overwhelming large store but it is compact, stocked to the brim, and fun meandering through every nook and cranny. I am grateful for the helpful and engaged staff too. While searching for gifts, I came upon a classic toy from the days of yore — a metal potholder loom — that brought back a wave of memories from my youth. When I gave this gift to a young mom, her eyes lit up recalling the same simply joy of a creative gift that she now will share with her child. Visiting Evan’s Toy Shoppe feels like a gift to me.

I took my daughter here for her 9th birthday and everything she picked out that they had on display they didn't have in stock. Plus they weren't very helpful in trying to help her find it in another store

This is literally the best toy shop I know. The staff is always helpful and cheerful and they are always well stocked on really well designed toys. Most of the staff at any given time knows all about most of the toys If not all of the toys. Anytime I need to buy a present for someone I can count on the staff to tell me all the good options for all different interests and explain each and every one of them to me. They always have great suggestions, cheerfully take any products back and gift wrap for free. It is a small store but they know their stuff and they do a fantastic job!

Took my girls to this terrific shop just yesterday, and after a great shopping experience, left wondering why I hadn't found it before. Billed as a "mom and pop" toy shop, it certainly makes one think back to the toy shops of yesteryear for those of us old enough to remember shopping for toys "pre-Internet". A surprisingly strong selection of toys, games and gifts. My daughters are already talking about what they'll pick out "next time".

Highly recommend this store, not only because it is local but it is a gold mine for buying gifts. The staff goes out of their way to help you and wrap everything. Bye bye to Target and Walmart for us!
