It's been some years ago since I got a massage here maybe 2017ish. My 5 stars is for service back in 2017. I will say that the establishment was clean and the person who did my massage was great! Being that it was my first time I didn't know what to expect. I slightly went off to sleep and after my massage was over, as I began to walk to the waiting area I asked why was my vision blurry and why was I walking wobbly down the hallway. She explained that my body had been purified from all the toxins!! Wow, that's incredible! I had no idea a massage could do that much to the body! It was an experience that I highly enjoyed! Years later to this date Aug 26, 2025, I was considering sending my sister here to get a massage but after reading the most recent comments I'm thinking differently..sorry Massage Envy you guys gotta do better😳.

I’ve been a member for several years, so I’ve experienced a few great therapists (some of which no longer work there) and some terrible ones as well. Currently, Evan and Aidan are probably two of the best (but Evan can be a bit hard to book). Not really impressed with the other therapists there. Ivelisse was not good at all, put no effort into the massage (literally just rubbing my skin). I initially thought her hands felt rough/dry, 60 minutes into a 90 minute massage I realized she was using gloves to massage me. In my 20 years of getting professional massages I have NEVER encountered that. I was so frustrated with the whole experience that I cut the session short. Manager was lovely about this shitty experience and didn’t use my credits, so thank you.
Front desk staff is always lovely and very helpful. Diamond is a pleasure to deal with at the front desk. Although I keep my membership, I’ve considered cancelling many times and wouldn’t recommend this location to family.

Bad store,,, they never call me to ask me for my card information, they never call me for make a appointment, they still own me money and my massage.
They take like 3 payment from my account

I had a great experience at this location.
I booked online same day, which was perfect for me. The location was clean, calming, and convenient.
From the front staff (Brenda) she was very welcoming and knowledgable. I had Monica for my massage, she was very attentive and did a great job. I also has Alexandra for a facial; she was amazing.
I felt so comfortable here that I brought a membership!

I have been going to Massage Envy in Hamden for at three years now and all the therapists I've had are very good. My current massage therapist Yolanda is excellent! She is newer to this location. What I appreciate about her is her passion for her profession, she listens..... she looks for the problem areas and works really hard to address the muscle groups impacted. I highly recommend her! Don't be deceived by her small size when you see her, she's strong!

This Massage Envy is the best one I’ve been to; the girls at the front desk are always very nice and I got a massage by Krystal and a facial by Jaymi and both were perfect. Very professional and skilled at what they do.

This is the most dirty unprofessional place I have ever came for a massage! The therapist was late then had me laying face down on a table waiting 10 min for a massage! I knew it was janky left before they could rob me of 140 bucks!!! No way don’t waste your time here!

I've gone to this location twice for a facial and it was a great experience. Alexandria did an amazing job. Alexandria was very knowledgeable and welcoming. The front desk staff has been very friendly and helpful. I've also called this location before my appointment and the staff was super helpful.

Some of the staff is very kind in person, but they never answer the phone. There are other reviews that say the same thing but the manager didn’t really believe me when I brought it to her attention because that particular morning I called before they were open (online said they were open). She actually said “I answered before we opened as a courtesy”…lol! I can never get appointments here, literally. I try booking 3 months out and they “never have anything”. I called the Milford location and wow, what a difference - Milford answered the phone, they had availability, the staff was attentive and the esthetician was fantastic. I had been trying to cancel my membership because I’m a busy mother with a specific schedule, but with all of the road blocks Hamden gave I could never catch up on my sessions. With Milford, I will catch up…but they’re so good there I might just keep the membership.

Massage Envy is a excellent place to go and get your facial, massage and stretch. My first time going there, and it was just absolutely refreshing and most relaxing. I am thinking of making a room like that nice cozy room. Alex was wonderful and very understanding about all my needs. Thank you guys!! very warm and welcoming.

I went to the Hamden location with bad neck pain. I booked last-minute, and all they had available was “Rapid tension relief”. It wad explained to me over the phone this was treatment with a massage gun. Fine. My appointment was at 5. After going through forms and shown to the waiting area, someone came to get me at 5:04. The treatment was okay, though not terribly helpful. She stopped at 5:26, and told me we were out of time. So, i paid for 30 mins, and got a 22-minute massage. It might not seem like much, but that’s almost one-third of the time i paid for. I would not recommend going here.
