I was in search of a place that could handle a restoration from a very old, disheveled picture with serious damage. The picture was not only ripped into two pieces, but had holes in certain parts, discoloration and poor resolution of some faces that were in the picture. Ross Imaging did an AMAZING job with bringing it “back to life” and my family was pleased with the work and effort put in to ensure that the restoration was a great finished product. I also appreciated how you are able to see the final product on the screen prior to printing. I will definitely be using them again for any future projects!

I dropped my film off for development and scanning on a Thursday and was informed that the scans would be ready by the following Sunday as the staff was on vacation. I accepted as there was no urgency on my part.However, I didn't receive the scans on Sunday as promised. I followed up on Monday, and they apologized, assuring me that the scans would be sent by the end of the day. Unfortunately, the scans were not sent. I called again on Tuesday, and there was no apology this time. They simply stated that the scans would be sent by the end of that day. When I began to express my frustration about the repeated delays, I was interrupted with a brusque "ma'am," "ma'am," to silence me. Dealing with rude responses just for requesting timely service is the last thing I need in my busy day!

I took a chance on this company. I saw some very poor ratings amongst the higher ratings, but I like to give local businesses the benefit of the doubt. I would never recommend Ross Imaging Center for any of your needs. I took 7 rolls of film to be developed and asked for high res scans of all the images.I paid a huge some of money for the film to be developed, printed, and for high res scans. I filled out the forms and began to check out with the cashier who was new. She had trouble which was no big deal. However, when she needed help, the owner was completely irritated and short with both her and I. I was appalled with how dismissive and mean he was being to his employee who was just trying to learn.I had filled out the form of what I wanted, but as I was cashing out, the price was so high I decided to remove some of the prints. When I asked for some of the color prints to be removed, the owner was angry with me that he had to redo that part of the order with the cashier. He acted so mad I nearly felt pressured to keep the prints on the order, but I simply couldn't afford them so he begrudgingly took them off.While he did this, he took the prints off of the wrong roll of film. I wanted prints of my black and white film, and only one roll of the color. Instead, he took the b&w prints off entirely and not the other color rolls. Because he took them off, he said I filled out the forms wrong and had to fill them out again.I filled out the forms again, completely stressed out because of how angry he was acting. I marked the wrong one as color vs black and white, which was completely on me as I was nervous, but I had told him what I wanted as he cashed me out, so it should've been in the system. The original forms I had were correct.I was told my color and black and white prints would be ready on Saturday, and the other on Tuesday. I called on Tuesday before coming in to see if the order was ready. I was told I should've dropped off my USB drive or purchased one when I dropped off my film, however no one told me this. He said I could buy one and that they would start to upload the high res images to the drive so I could get them before closing. I drove a half hour thinking the scans could be ready, as he told me multiple times that they would be ready by Tuesday, and had told me on the phone they would be ready before closing. I drove a half hour to the store and the scans were not ready. He said they were closing and I'd have to come back.While I was there, he gave me the wrong prints, and a set of prints that I ordered was also not ready. The owner tried to tell me he gave me everything and I didn't order the prints that I was missing, (again being angry and hostile with me), but then realized he did in fact make a mistake and printed the photos for me. He also printed a roll that had "no prints" clearly written on it, then acted like he did me a favor giving me "free" prints because he made a mistake.I had to go back on Thursday and when I got my scans they were 72 dpi jpegs. I paid for high res images and although the image was large in terms of pixels per inch, they still should've been a high resolution TIFF file.When I called to ask why this was, the owner yelled at me, told me I didn't understand because I was "new to photography and image sizes" when I have over a decade of experience with this and deal with images on a daily basis for my job. When I said that I wanted a TIFF file, he tried to tell me a jpeg was just as good, and TIFF files were more expensive.Every other photo developing center I've gone to has always given me TIFFs when I ordered high res, yet he said I needed to specify I wanted TIFF. He was yelling at me and saying I didn't understand, and when I said "sir, I gave you a lot of money for this job, can you please not yell at me as your customer," he hung up on me.Don't waste your money on this place. This has now become my go-to for anything photography-related. The customer service was excellent. Very knowledgeable, polite, and efficient. My print came out beautiful (and they did not have a negative to work with). It's definitely worth a visit.

Friendly shop, very effective service. I went there for the fingerprinting service.EDIT (4 years later): I actually liked them so much for the fingerprinting that I've been using them for actual photo development and some framing for the past three years :) Just wanted to add that since I see they replied to my old review

Avoid Ross Imaging. Slow service, expensive prices and incompetent technical expertise. Go across the street to Staples for better service, lower prices and better technical expertise.
