My experience at this ShopRite was extremely pleasant. I had trouble with an order of mine, and when I approached the Customer Service desk Nicole was very kind and helpful and was able to assist me with the next steps. This ShopRite isn't the closest store to me, but due to this experience today I'll be going out of my way to return in the future. Amazing job Nicole and her crew, keep it up!

Such a clean environment and Whinnisha from merchandising was so pleasant to talk to even though she wasn't my cashier she helped me with price checking dairy free ice cream. Everyone that works here so well kept and Whinnisha looks like Andrea from that's so raven. It's a compliment trust me.

bathrooms are dirty disgusting. smells horrible !!!! told manager she gave me the stare never will i enter that shoprite again.when you walk past the fish it smells !!! close it down

Adds are misleading and always out of the sale items tall manager very rude !walked away from me as I was talking to him. Avoid this ShopRite used to love it when they were nice . Employees they have working here now very rude and seem like the hate there jobs.best person is the young man who picks up the carts always gets me one if he’s near themand I’m walking in.

UNBELIEVABLE. THIS STORE IS RUN LIKE A STORE THAT COULD CARE LESS SBOUT US CUSTOMERS. 9AM only one register open and a butcher is at it buying 30 big boxes of chicken Nearly 200 packages. Waiting. I don’t think so. When asking the store manager if there was another register. He said NO ! I will NEVER go back. Loser store.

Store needs to get better help or retrain the staff. This is not the first time and it’s probably not the last time. Shop-rite on Dixwell Ave, Hamden,ct needs to address the fruits and vegetables nothing but refrozen rotten vegetables and fruits. I just left the store june,1,2024 and as soon as I walked in a big pile of tangerines $4.99 a bag I pick up a bag rotten tangerines pick up another bag rotten went over to the other mandarin oranges first bag flip it over rotted so bad it was all moldy. I was able to grab the worker in that department and show him what was going on with the tangerines and oranges he took the bags that I showed him but he really had no concerns about the rotten fruits. I told him their are many more bags that are rotted he didn’t seem interested in what I told him I looked at him and said would you pay$4.99 for a bag of rotten tangerines he never gave me a answer.This is not the first case of rotten vegetables I bought a bag of potatoes a couple of weeks ago but because there so many potatoes in a plastic bag you just can’t turn each one around to see if their are any rotted until I got home once I open the bag I could smell the rotted potatoes and their were three potatoes rotted.Another time about two months ago I bought the fresh pet dog food as soon as I opened the bag it smelled so bad i thought i was going to throw up it smelled like a dead animal was in the package I brought that bag back immediately and even the girl at the desk confirmed that it was very bad and it was outdated. The problem is food is very expensive today and stores don’t like throwing out anything bad but getting sick is bad too especially eating something bad. But training your help not to be lazy and making them aware of rotten items goes a long way.”Next time I will take pictures “

Nice store, very clean, good variety, nice employees. Also the best pharmacy in town. Pharmacy Manager John and his team are courteous, professional and helpful. So glad I’ve moved all my prescriptions here over the past few years.

Great if you want to be harassed by a robot that stalks and whistles at you constantly. Bad if you don't want to be harassed by a robot. Also bad to work at if you want a place to sit in your checkout lane.

The worst store ever!!!!! The staff is very rude. They tried to bully me and harassed me. Please shop somewhere else. Do not spend your money here!!!!
