This is my first time going to a car wash. Keith helped me become a member and explained each membership. He also was super nice and had a lot of patience with me. I appreciate you Keith. I would definitely would be coming back.

Classic case of bait and switchI needed an interior detail. Called just to make sure they’d have space today. I was prepared to pay full price for an interior detailing. I was told they had a special for the weekend, that it would be 50% off if I made an appointment today or tmw. Asked for clarification 3x over the phone because it sounded like she was saying I needed to be a member. She repeated that if I came in and paid for an appointment that I had to use the 50% off it today or tmw.Told her I’d be in in half an hour. She said great. Dropped what I was doing, rushed in for the detailing. When I pulled up to the full service lane, the guy quoted me the full price. I asked him about the 50% off special. He went inside to confirm. Came back and told me I’d get $75 off the 175, that I’d pay $100. I figured with tax, the half off would come to 100. I went inside to pay. They tried to charge me 122. I told the staff that wasn’t 50% off. She then called for backup. Her coworker came and told me it wasn’t 50%. I told them what I was told on the phone and that I came because of that very deal. They said “we can’t honor that. It was a mistake”. I asked if I had to pay for their mistake. She asked if I’d like to speak to her boss, I said sure.Get this, the boss comes and tells me I have to pay 150! That he can only take $25 off.At this point I’m like y’all just don’t want my business. He says it’s not 50% that it’s actually $50 off. But not off the service I came for. I asked if he can honor what his staff told me on the phone—what brought me into their business, what the guy outside in the service lane told me. He says no. Says two of his staff have told me that the 50% off is not a thing. He points to the staff I e been dealing with the whole time who now says that she was the one I spoke to one the phone. She bold face lies that she told me $50 on the phone not 50%. I’m like you got to be kidding me.Even told the manager about the work I’m doing to highlight local businesses, that I’d love to write something nice about them since they’re usually pretty friendly. That I’d rather not have to write about this. He says “you gotta do what you got do.”So here I am. Writing this with hopes that no one else falls for this bait and switch. If they had even once apologized, I would’ve probably just gone ahead and paid what they were asking. But the sheer disregard for integrity and their responsibility to communicate honestly with customers made it impossible for me to give them my money today. I really hope they don’t keep this up. Used to really enjoy going here :/

The worst experience of my life dealing with a racist Splash Manager!Today, I was not having the best day, but I decided to relax and wash my car. I've been a Splash monthly member for years and I have been relatively happy with their service. However, this all changed today.I pulled into Splash, Hamden, and I heard someone yell something to me as I pulled up to the office. I already was prepared to go inside, so I parked next to the office and got out of the car. I asked the person that yelled to me, "What happened" and he yelled "slow the f*** down"! I replied, "Don't speak to me unless I speak to you"! Considering, if he felt my speed was unacceptable, there is a right way to speak to an adult/loyal paying customer, but I also knew, I was not speeding. I went to turn around to go inside, then he yelled, "If you don't f***ing like it, I will kick you the f*** out of here." At this point, I was shacking mad that I was being spoken to in this manner. I yelled back, "Who are you f***ing talking too". I am a small framed African American man, this guy was four-times my size, older, bald and Caucasian. I knew, if I were white, he would have never come at me the way he did from the very beginning.He then walked up, got in my face yelling to the point our noses and bodies touched, and he continued to yell with his spit hitting my face. Trying to maintain control, I gripped my phone in my pocket with the thought of punching this guy dead in his face. I maintained control because I knew, being black, had I done anything inappropriate, I would have been immediately arrested and I know have entirely too much to lose entertaining this loser.One of his colleagues pulled him back and I turned around to go inside. As I approached the building, other employees started apologizing to me saying what he did was uncalled for, and I did not deserve that. I went inside and spoke to a young lady at the desk who called the manager on duty to come to me. She said, she seen and heard an altercation, but she was wrapping up with a customer. She apologized and gave me corporates number.I went home and called the police and filed a report against, Drew - Splash Service Manager.1. If I were white, he would have never used that tone nor language with me.2. If he were black or brown and I was white, he would have been called disgruntled and fired on the spot.3. I felt threatened, and I almost lost control, but glad I did not.4. I am the New England Regional Manager of a national real estate firm, if any of my employees behaved in this manner, they would have been terminated immediately.I am truly disappointed. I felt totally disrespected and for a moment I didn't even feel safe. He did this to the right person because anyone else would have definitely handled this a lot differently. I am blessed to have had self-control. DREW NEEDS TO GET FIRED!

I always have a good experience when I get my car washed here. The staff are efficient and do their job well. The greeter is always friendly and professional whenever I pull my car in. Would highly recommend signing up for their deals. Totally worth the price.

I’ve had a monthly membership with splash for over a year. It’s pretty good but the Hamden location clearly cuts its tri-foam. It’s watered down in comparison to the New Haven location. The water also doesn’t wash the soap off completely ever. I feel like the Hamden location skims on water as well

Great cleaning service and outstanding staff that take good care of my car. I'm saving hundreds of dollars as well getting the unlimited wash. If you want you're car clean right come here.

Car always nice and shiny! I've used the interior cleaning service and it made my 2006 Chevy Cobalt look nearly new. I have a couple more cars I'll be getting the interior cleaned and now I know where to go!Service: Auto interior vacuuming

Very disappointed, Horrible service they charge $29.77 for car wash and don’t do what is offer for the price didn’t vacuum, didn’t clean the windows no tires shine didn’t wipe the car. Don’t recommend this place

This is now my new car wash! I used to use a different one nearby because I passed it every time I went grocery shopping, but they have been closed for what seems like a rebuild. Splash car wash employees were extremely friendly and sweet and did a great job cleaning my car. They also have a monthly program with reduced rates which I will most likely be taking advantage of. Great customer service goes a long way. Thank you!

Great car wash in and out in under 10 minutes. I got the works plus package it was a little pricey but my truck came out looking brand new .

Love this wash, I have been an unlimited customer for some time now with my husband. From being greeted to paying inside with the amazing lady who is always there and the girl that is out front finishing up my car for me. I can’t complain.
