So, got there and my boyfriend orders a crispy chicken sandwich. The waitress was a little delayed at first (even though the restaurant seemed to be not busy). Not sure where she was or what she was doing but at times we sat there and wasn't checked on at all.... anyways long story short the hostess? kept checking on us, and getting us everything we needed... We had to send the burger back because it was completely different than what was ordered. The waitress was very unattentive to our table. I could see her at the bar chatting it up after we have been waiting several minutes past/more the normal wait time would be. She took about 20 mins after that to finally acknowledge us. "I'll be right with you guys". Then took even longer to even do that... disappeared, and not one worker came by or even walked past for atleast 30mins.. started to enjoy my meal and then I was trying to break a big cluster of broccoli up. To realize once I broke a part this was there (photo attached). I stated to the waitress after she finally decided to show up, that there was something in my broccoli that didn't look right... She literally said "oh" and walked away from the table and didn't come back for God knows how long... didn't even mention anything about it. I freaked out, and felt sick instantly.. It looked like a fuzzy substance with an object inside that looked like it had ridges. Honestly reminded me of a bug, we had to bring it to the managers attention since the waitress did not care about our needs or anything else that had to do with us really seemed like she barely wanted to deal with us. Probably won't be going back to Fridays/Tgif after that.The manager was very nice and understood and had sympathy for us after we showed her, and told her our experience with the waitress. She adjusted our bill to a reasonable amount after what happened. Thank you for someone who can relate and be there as a worker.

Fine for what it is but why does Google say temporarily closed? And Yelp says permanently closed? Has this place finally closed after being opened for 20 plus years?

Worst service EVER! We were at the Hamden establishment for over 2 hours. No, it wasn't that busy. It seemed like there was only 1 waiter even though we saw people standing around. We sat in the high top chairs in the bar area. While our waiter seemed to be every where, even the TO GO, the bartender made our drinks and left them there instead of bringing them to us. It took about an hour to get our food and the order wasn't complete. We never received the chips and salsa and it wasn't taken off the receipt like it was supposed to be. My boyfriend never received his ribs, so we had to ask several times for them. We had to remind them about the brownie with vanilla ice cream that my grandson ordered. Finally, some one came over to tell us there was not vanilla ice cream. Then never came back with the brownie. We had to go to the bartender to ask for it. Not sure I will ever be back!

We walked in around 3:30 on a Saturday. There were only 3 tables occupied. It took 5 minutes for someone to even acknowledge we were waiting to be seated and an additional 5 minutes for the bartender (who had no one sitting at the bar) to come seat us. Who did that by putting menus at a table then telling us right here as she walked away before we even got to the table. The waiter (Austin) was great and by himself. It didn’t take long for our food once the order was taken. However, I ordered a southern chicken sandwich. Mayo and avocado was supposed to come on the sandwich, as I requested everything, but it was missing. Austin went back for the Mayo and was told the avocado was too hard. No apologies from the staff nor discount for not having the required items for the order. Again, not Austin’s fault. And I was told the manager was he one to bring the food out and we did not see him anymore while we were there. Very disappointing.

Absolutely the slowest service i have ever had in my life. There is nobody here either, if you want to wait for an hour for your food, then id recommend this place.

We were seated right away by a friendly host. After 20 minutes of seeing servers chatting in the back of the restaurant, but none ever coming to our table, we walked out. No wonder there were only 3 or 4 occupied tables on a Saturday night.

When I used to order from here on Uber, it was great, but the last two times have been unacceptably bad. I received a RAW hamburger patty when I asked for medium rare. Obviously, it wasn’t edible. Today, I ordered their ice cream brownie pecan dessert and asked and PAID FOR extra ice cream. It came with no pecans and so little ice cream that it almost seemed comical. Won’t be ordering again.

I love this Friday's Convenience they’re pretty fast. The food is cheap and good. The staff is usually busy. I had to go order even though the waitress was just clocking in. She was still nice enough to actually get my to go order and take my money. I appreciate that.

This place is filthy. We sat down and was greeted with a large spider web next to the window. The table and bench were dirty and as we were walking out we noticed mustard on the floor. It made sense why the place was empty. We didn’t bother eating, that was enough for us.

Food orders were inconsistent in quality. Server failed to check if we needed anything else until we were done eating.
