“I highly recommend Quality Used Tires and Alloy Wheel Repair. I would like to share why. A lot has changed in Hamden since the late 1960s and 1970s. Few family-owned and small businesses remain here in Hamden. Relationships are replaced with transactions. Things, places change! And this would include exemplary customer care and customer service that you tend to find in a small town. This is why it was most refreshing to experience exemplary customer service and customer care at Quality Used Tires and Alloy Wheel Repair in Hamden. Yet, I almost drove to Bethany and Waterbury to service my vehicle because neither my call nor voicemail was returned. But, something said to reach out via a chat or text. That did it! They quickly responded, analyzed my situation (bent alloy wheel), and told me to be over there by 4pm. Once there, they went over step by step the exact procedure(s), the detailed cost, estimated time, potential impact on wheel cover, and kept me updated on where they were in completing the work. The guys were great and their great repair work needs to be widely celebrated and recognized. Not to mention the fact that Quality Used Tires and Alloy Wheel Repair was highly recommended by another local Hamden business that I regularly patronize. I believe in writing stellar reviews when warranted. A most satisfied customer I will return and direct patrons there as well for the wheel service(s) requested, for the quality service, and for the value. Again, thank you kindly for a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!”

“New to the area so I asked ChatGPT Where are the best place to get an emission sticker was in Wallingford I mean I know it’s pretty standard but just wanted to see what they said and I was so happy that I did. They were fast, efficient, friendly, and seemed trustworthy. We’ll definitely recommend and go back if I need to in the future, grateful to have places like this. I know it’s only $20 right now and that’s standard everywhere, but having the piece of mind that I can go to a mechanic that isn’t going to rip me off Or try to scam me cause I’m a girl is so great. thanks Nelson’s!!”

“As a single mother, it feels good to have a reliable and affordable mechanic and Javi and George are truly the best! Javi takes the time, no matter how busy he is, to address any concerns or needs with my car. He is always professional and does a thorough job. George and Javi work together to create an environment that is welcoming and trusting. They do not overcharge or add unnecessary repairs. I have been going for over 6 years and I am truly satisfied with their service.”

Great service and this place exceeded all expectations. I will continue to bring my Maxima to Warren going forward in the future without a second thought. “We had to have the transmission rebuilt for a 2011 Mazda CX 7. I believe the owners name was Bill who we dealt with. Everything was explained clearly, and some additional work that could have possibly been needed, did not need to be done. It was great to not have that possible extra expense. It was clear when the car was dropped off that it would have been a few weeks before we got it back and that was exactly the case. The work was done back in November and I wanted to wait some time to write my review. Everything has been working fine.”

“My dad’s truck broke down in New Haven (he is from New York) and we googled a transmission center near by and we found Lee Myles. From the moment we walked in I felt welcomed. As always, when you take your car to a mechanic you never know what to expect. Techs were professional and very helpful, we received a call back within a day and we were told it was not the transmission and that we should take it to a diesel mechanic instead for further check. They wouldn’t charge us anything and they were still humanistic, professional, helpful and so more many other great description that I van keep going for ever. If you need your transmission fix, go to Lee Myles transmission at Whalley st in New Haven, I promise you, you will not regret it!!! Honesty should be their middle name Thank you!!”

“Lawn mower wouldn't start and the snow thrower needed a tuneup. Found Lendroth mobile repair online. Kevin came and picked up the mower and thrower. He completed the job and returned to me in 2 days. The thrower started right up. Had a small issue with the mower which Kevin took care of. The price for services charged is competitive and pick up and return fee was reasonable. I would recommend Lendroth mobile repair.”

“I was visiting family in CT from Colorado in my 2006 4Runner. 2nd day there my driveshaft snapped and destroyed transmission & transfer case. New parts were not an option for me, budgets transmissions team was able to source the needed parts and get me back on the road. Still driving strong , no issues, great service and work. Jeannie (sp!) , operations manager, did an excellent job keeping me updated throughout the process. Highly recommend Budget Transmission!!”
