As a former employee in 2013-2017, I've watched current employees literally be on their phones while ringing up customers which can lead to an error in the register. This visit today was successful and quick and the cashier was helpful and not rude like others I've encountered. My neighbor store #1191

Ordered prescription and paid extra for same day delivery sometime around 10am. They told me that I could expect it to arrive by 6pm. It never showed up. I called them back the next morning and they said they would get it to me sometime after 5pm. I asked if I could pay the 1-2 day delivery charge since it was not same day delivery and they put me on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on me.

Be careful at the pharmacy here!! They gave me triple the dosage I was supposed to take so it wouldn’t have ended well for me if I didn’t notice and consult my doctor. Keep an eye out

Honestly one year ago I would give it Zero stars if I could. Maybe new management, but store was completely different. Filling prescriptions times went from several hours to 20 minutes. Big turn around. (Just reviewed Pharmacy)

I called to fill my prescription last week Monday. It was supposed to be ready the following day after 9AM. When my nurse went to pick it up, she was told “it wasn’t called in”. The next day I wound up in the ER because I didn’t have my medicine. Every month there is a problem with my medicine. Some of the staff members are cool but most of are incompetent and management are morons. I’m switching pharmacies and recommend avoiding this place like the plague. 👎🏿

I called Walgreens Pharmacy on Dixwell & Putnum for my Son's Medication and the young lady there put me on hold for 40 minutes and while on hold she kept picking the phone up and putting the music on it so that made me drive to the location and while I'm standing there I'm watching for my self the young lady picking up and pushing the hold button until she completely Hung up the Phone all the Way .When I said tithe young lady I'm the one who's been on the phone that up just hung on with out never answering the phone and the Pharmacy was not Busy like that .Then when it was my turn to step up to the Counter she asked someone else to handle me before arguing with me on why she hung up.she does not need to be there if she can't conduct herself in a Professional Manner to Customer .. Especially in the Pharmacy where People Need there Medication

the head manager of this location hamden need to fire the young man, very light skinned curly hair because he sits around and talk about customers that he watched and let steal your products but did nothing. He also was saying they stole from your location previously. It may friends of his. And it's not professional to talk about customers or make your store sound unsafe or ok to steal. He was so nasty!
