This review is mostly for the building. I recently attended a private event and I was very impressed by the cleanliness and staff .From the security personnel till the maintenance workers, they were all very nice and helpful!Beautiful view from the 11 th floor!Jose was so accommodating with all of our needs in setting up our exposition and conference! My only wish is that I knew about the validated parking option.Very impressive building and beautiful illuminated at night. Thank you for hosting our event!

It gets a three since it is an idea place to go for people who do not want to have the partying and drinking related aspects in their college experience. Also, the college is just a large building in the middle of Hartford, with no campus. This creates an impersonal school atmosphere. Some people, like myself, like this, and would be an ideal place for those who want an impersonal school atmosphere. If you want a warm experience, do not go here. If you want to party, do not go here. As typical for community colleges, you are primarily paying for education; not fancy building projects, fancy dorms with cleaners who will sweep up the puke left over from the weekends, college sports programs, professor's benefits, and bells and whistles that Universities like to set up for enrollments. Tutoring is the worst I have seen amongst the Connecticut Community Colleges, so if you need one, you better hire your own. The professors will just push you off to the tutoring center. You will not be able to attend tutoring services at other Connecticut Community colleges unless you are enrolled and taking classes there, or if the Community College is not also offering the same course you are having problems with at Capital.

Great and competent professors. The most ethnically diverse community college in Hartford.

Capital Community College is by far the greatest community college in the state. In the Old G Fox Building, it is floor by floor of student activities, classes and a true community environment. The faculty is the nicest in the world and trully cares about students. I recommend it for your education and the furthering of your future!

If you want to get anything done, avoid the first and seventh floors, and pretty much any common area. "Indoor voice" is an unknown concept at this place.

Located at the old G.Fox building, CCC isn't too shabby. The crowd here is very mixed. The location is great, right off of 91 and 84. I am currently enrolled in their nursing program and as of now I like what I see, ill update as soon as I graduate in May 2011 as an RN.
