Charter Oak Landing is a park just south of Downtown Hartford on the Connecticut River. It is a great place for fishing, barbecuing, and taking a walk. The scenery of the river is especially nice. People enjoy it for exercise, watching the water, feeding the birds, and accessing the pedestrian walkway under the Charter Oak Bridge. The park features a boat launch, a playground, picnic tables, and lighted walkways. It is good for memories and is described as a nice place to be with nice people. Many recommend it for anyone who loves nature close to the city, to enjoy the sunrise and embrace the day.
Beautiful spot to relax an fish or boat. 10 dollars a day to launch your boat.

Who doesn't like charter? O'clande, good for taking a walk. Good for exercise Good for just watching the water feeding the birds. Good for memories, good for outdoor barbecuing. Good on rainy days. You can go under the bridge and watch the water decompress. I hope it stays in our generations for years to come
