Hartford Sweat is not just a yoga studio it is a sanctuary. Studio owner and instructor Rakyel is PHENOMENAL. Every class she teaches is fun and restorative, but she is also careful in choosing other instructors and classes. Every instructor and class understands the importance of elevating health and wellness through yoga, barre, and pilates. The community of members is kind and supportive, a true yoga family. I bring every person who visits me to the studio and they rave about it constantly. I cannot recommend this studio enough! Also shout out to the amazing admin Tory, he manages the desk and everyone's membership with grace and skill.

Signed up for a 90 min Bikram Class during a long road trip, not expecting too much. What a surprise! Hidden in the basement of a downtown shopping area, Hartford Sweat was one of the most beautiful studios I've seen with three gorgeous practice rooms, immaculate lobby and honestly the best locker room/shower I've experienced at a yoga studio. Owner Tory was super friendly, instructor was amazing and even the community were super welcoming and I chatted with many of them and they all love the studio. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience at this yoga studio! The instructors were knowledgeable and created a welcoming atmosphere. The variety of classes catered to all levels, allowing me to challenge myself and deepen my practice. The studio space was clean and peaceful, enhancing the overall experience. Highly recommended!

Beautiful studio and great classes. The bathrooms were really lovey and spacious. The heat in the room for the Bikram Class I took was perfect. The teacher, Deborah was super attentive.

I truly love being part of the Hartford Sweat community. I have taken a few bikram classes, and Rakyel is my all time favorite teacher. Her class is so welcoming and engaging. She makes every person feel like they belong and can succeed in the practice. All the other teachers are awesome too, I feel challenged in every class I’ve taken. Would 1000% recommend Hartford Sweat. I can’t wait to go back every week.

This review is only about the "Gentle Yoga" classes at Hartford Sweat (because that is the only class I've tried). These classes are the highlight of my week. I'm sure the class is supposed to be for people needing a good stretch for tired muscles but I use it as a 'self care' relaxation class. When I leave, I feel refreshed and ready to take on the rest of the week. The best part of the class is that Kristin (the usual instructor) starts every class by saying that if you just want to lay on the floor or stay in child's pose for the entire hour you can - and she means it. This truly is a no-judgement class where you can do as much or as little as you want based on what your body (or mind) is telling you to do. I can't say enough great things about the class - definitely give it a try.

Great yoga studio with fantastic people and wonderful atmosphere. In addition to Bikram, which is great but sometimes and acquired taste, be sure to check out Barre, Pilates Hiit, Hot Sculpt and Power Yoga - you really can't go wrong!

First time doing Bikram Yoga ?♀️ it was amazing! If you love to sweat and be challenged, it's the perfect class. The studio is very clean , modern and very welcoming.They have diffrent classes on their schedule . It's nice to have the option to cross train.....also their rates are very reasonable.

Love the Hartford Sweat community. Tory is a wonderful owner, really cares about our time spent there, and it's an added treat when his dog Kinley is around! Plus, I love the barre, yoga and power sculpt workouts, it's a regular part of my routine now.

The best yoga spot in CT. Raquel and Tory are such a pleasure and I absolutely love coming here. Try for yourself, it’s not easy, but it’s one of the best forms of self love you can give yourself. Your mind, body, and soul will thank your tremendously for it. ?
