Absolutely horrendous customer service. The owner Jody is very rude and unhelpful and smelled strongly of alcohol. 0/10 for off-putting lack of professionalism. Over priced cheap clothing. A serious disappointment….

This store was absolutely amazing towards me! The quality of suits and jackets are worth ever dollar. The staff made me feel like family! If your looking for a suit, jacket, or accessories you need to stop here. This place has it all and is worth the prices!

Full disclosure: I am Ron and Jody Morneault's daughter. That said, I couldn't be more proud of my parents' hard work, perseverance, and talent for making people feel and look their best. They offer incomparable personal service and have maintained an unbroken chain of retail presence since I was 5 years old, originally with Tuesday's and now with Stackpole's, originally established in 1909. Their care and dedication is reflected in their window trimming, hosting artists and their artwork, social events, and continuing to bring the height of fashion to Trumbull and Pratt Streets in Hartford, Connecticut. I have been shopping at Stackpole Moore Tryon (Morneault's) for literally decades. I've moved up and down the East Coast but always find an excuse to return to this amazing store for a fashion up-lift. The range of attire offered includes smart casual to elegant to executive business - and the selection is always fantastic. My favorite all-time store with beautiful people and beautiful clothes.

A six hour drive and well worth it. Living just outside Washington DC I suspect we could find other good specialty stores on our way to central CT, but none would compare to Morneault's Stackpole Moore Tryon! Jody, Ron and Mary are delightful to work with. They each have a keen and honest sense of what looks good and what does not. As buyers they know their clients well and select merchandise which is unique, fashionable and beautifully made. Thanks for another exceptional men's and women's shopping experience.

My husband visited Jody at Stackpole for a tux for my daughter's wedding. More expensive than we thought so Jody spruced up his black suit with cuff links and a nice shirt. She spoiled us. Maria also tailored my dress perfectly.

This is a nice clothing store. I was there for the art show but I looked at some clothing and it's very nice quality garments. Interesting history too. The art is fantastic.

This review is long overdue, I was in the area for a wedding and forgot my belt. So I stopped into this store thinking i'd be quick but ended up staying for almost 1.5 hrs because the owners were so friendly and helpful. I did end up buying more than I needed at the time but the clothes just fit right. They took the time to explain the quality of materials to me, how they can customize anything if I wanted and honestly the price for bespoke suits were very comparable. So if you're in the area, I would definitely recommend stopping into this store because you never know what you'll find. I'll definitely try to stop by next time i'm in the area too.
