Well, here's my experience about Sam's.Its a pretty well stocked bodega located downtown right next door to B.K. .Though it's hit or miss if B.k. is ever open, Sam"s is always is open!!! You can bet the bank on that!! They are RARELY IF EVER,CLOSED!!!The prices are good to reasonable, the coffee is really good and strong,( Baronet).Now, m-f in the early morning,You could be run over by people trying to get their coffee!! No joke!!And the guy making all that coffee for everybody, is generally always running around remaking,restocking sugar,and condiments, and coffee.( he could run ya over too! Lol!) But everyone will usually stop and help you should you need assistance with something.The store is stocked with everything from aspirin,-zippo lighters! So if you don't see what you're looking for, just ask! Sam's is open -Mon. - Fri. 4:30 am - 11pm.Sat., and Sun. 6:30am(ish)-11pmThey apologize for the occasional pan-handeler and riff raff. After all,it is HartfordAnd ya just can't get rid of all of them!!!! Lol!!! Take care now!!!!
