  My family has stopped by 3 times in the decades of living nearby. The owner lady is super grumpy. Gave the kid in front of us a lollipop but not my 4 yo. There's a sign to not bounce a toy ball on the floor- how is one to test the $10 toy before forking over hard earned money? The owner asked us to leave because we had ice cream cones. Your establishment is right next to a few ice cream spots, be real!

  REFUSED TO HONOR THEIR OWN RETURN POLICY. I bought 4 plastic flower pots 24 days ago. Determined that same day they were too small so I saved the receipt (rare for me) and didn’t get back there until today. Return denied claiming they are a seasonal item. Last time I checked June 24th is still flower pot season. They are still selling flower pots, flowers, soil, fertilizer etc. 30 day return? I’m within that window too. Actual reason? Who knows? I was going to use the refund $ to buy other garden supplies there. No way. NEVER AGAIN. Will loss of my business affect them? No. Will I speak poorly of this place forever? Yes.

  A shame that I am writing this. The store is lovely for the lake visitors and if your interested in garden decor or random toys for the kids but when it comes to their flowers/plants, they are HORRIBLY maintained. Their shelving is practically crushing and damaging every plant on the rack, blocking plants that need sunlight from direct sunlight. They are crispy and BEYOND thirsty. I went back a few times to be sure, and they hadn’t even been touched once over a 2-3 week span. I tried to give a call to them to offer my help to swing by a couple times a week to deadhead and water their plants, and the guy that I spoke to shut me down immediately and was extremely rude. He said “I’m all set” . So okay! Keep having your plants look like garbage! And making no money off them! Fine with me. Wont be going back. He could’ve kindly said no we have somebody for that thank you though.

  This place is NOT closed permanently. Fun place with a little bit of everything. Ive gone in there when I needed things around the house, but also just to kill time with my 2year old niece who enjoys finding all sorts of fun treasures too.
