Halfinger Farms is a family-owned and operated PYO daffodil, greenhouse, mum, and pumpkin farm located in the beautiful Candlewood Hill Valley, in the Higganum section of Haddam. Visitors can enjoy a fantastic expedition filled with beauty and discovery, as the farm offers a wide variety of seasonal offerings. In the spring, customers can pick their own daffodils, while the greenhouses are stocked with an impressive selection of annuals and perennials, including salvias, cuphea, lantana, zinnias, asters, angelonia, amaranth, agastache, nicotiana, sunflowers, herbs, and vegetable plants. The begonia selection is also noted as phenomenal, and the farm caters to butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and night-time pollinators. During the fall, Halfinger Farms is known for its stunning mums, pumpkins, and gourds, which are a must-visit for many in the area.
