Ivoryton Playhouse is a quintessential New England summer theater, steeped in history and a beautiful, quaint antique theater. It is a great little professional non-for-profit and a pearl of a theater in Southeast CT. The theater offers a friendly and intimate place to see a play with incredible lighting, seating, and acting on a relatively small stage. Productions are fantastic, wonderful, and superb, with great staging, cast, and music, often compared to Broadway. The high quality performances are very reasonably priced. It is a highly recommended place to see a play.
