A bit pricey, but cute shop with nice displays...however, items seem to move very slowly. Expect to see the same merchandise on display for years! I went to school in the area and visited 3 years later for a reunion and was surprised to see the same blouse and shoes I had almost purchased previously. Unsure if that's because there's not much traffic in the store or it's just that the items are priced incorrectly.

Nice displays but the merchandise doesn't move much. I've visited Kent twice a year since over past 7 years (since my kids attend a school in the town) and the exact shoes, blouses, and dresses have been in the store over those years. Unsure if it's due to slow customer traffic or if items are too pricey.

Do not consign at this store! I brought in a vintage Oscar De La Renta gown to consign and when I emailed and called the store, it took 4 months to get a reply. The reply was thus: I was told that the delay was because the owners "helpers" couldn't find the dress because it was "squirreled" away and that it was found "sun damaged" and that a check for $99.00 was en route. I never got the check and that was 6 months ago. I asked for the dress back even though it was "damaged" and never got a reply.

i'm a vintage store nut and this is hands down, one of my favorites in the country. bummer i'm trying to find a website but not having any luck. if you're ever in new england, definitely stop by this place. it's not your mom and pop vintage store, bj carefully handpicks everything in the store and it's all exceptional quality.
