“Can a thrift shop be quiet but bustling? That's how I would describe this store. It's off the beaten main street of Kent, next to a church. It promises it donates profits from the store to charity, and is in a converted house. It does have a parking lot separate from the church, and has a ramp entrance as well as stairs. Inside there are about four rooms of shopping, mostly clothes. So many clothes. Women's, children's, probably men's in the room I skipped. There's also stuff interspersed - toys with kids, jewelry decorating the fireplace in the women's clothing room, and a room in back with nice glassware. On the glass - someone is doing their research. They're not priced unfairly ($6 for a vintage character glass), but they are priced what someone may charge trying to resell it, so it may feel steeper than what you normally see at a thrift shop. But it is for charity, and when a sale tag had been inadvertently stuck to an item I was interested in, they did work with me. Definitely interesting selections!”
