Always helpful staff. Folks were helpful with my questions about products and availability in the outdoor furniture department. The associate in the paint department worked with us to offer insights in what finish was best for our application by offering suggestions while explaining why the suggestion was appropriate.

Lowes dayville sold my family a new refrigerator. We plugged it in and proceeded to turn up the coldness in the fridge slowly over 48 hours to reach required coldness for food safety (As stated in the refrigeration manual). It never became cold enough. Lowes in dayville refuses to take the refrigerator back now as it has been over 48 hours. They say it is whirlpools issue after 48 hours. I buy alot of appliances from Lowes for properties i own. I liked the family setting over home depot, but this uncaring view has lost my patronage. Our family has no refrigeration unless whirlpool is willing to send a tech out, or we pay out of pocket. Lowes saying they support families and veterans seems to just be for the ads. Lowes selling $1900 of worthless non functioning appliance.
It seems like Lowes just responds to customers by posting the same message and really not fixing the problem..appearing to care..let's see if they respond to my review the same.

This is by far the best Lowes I know of. I frequent Ware and also Worcester MA however, I'm always greeted with a smile in Killingly. Someone is always willing to ask if I need assistance; today I was once again helped by Diane (she's helped me before) I believe she's a manager?? Either way, who's ever doing the hiring at this location keep doing what you're doing. The staff at this location is the best.

Paid 4500 for a zero turn lawn mower. Delivered missing the bolts on the seat so it literally fell off. Lowe's won't just give me the part off another machine to make it right. So two hours on the phone and disconnected multiple times, because I had it delivered it's the distribution center and not the store where I made the purchase. I have to wait a week for them to pick up this machine and drop one off with the two simple bolts on the seat. Makes a ton of business sense. Should have gone to a Mom and Pop. I'll think twice before I drop the amount of money in any Lowe's ever again.

Okay, this place is great because it's convenient, because it has such a large selection, and because the employees really are great. But beyond that, it's got issues. I've noticed the quality of Lowe's products is really going down - a lot of times you'll buy something expensive and it's just lame. I bought 3 air conditioners last year, properly sized for the rooms they were going in, the more-expensive of the options. Installed them all, ran them, and none of them cooled the rooms really at all. Why sell such junk? At least when you buy something online there's reviews online so you know if it's junk. At Lowe's, you just have to hope that they're carrying decent stuff. But that's not the only thing that has happened like that. I bought a bunch of Christmas lights right before Christmas. I was trying to pull a fast one or anything, but the lights were terrible, half of them didn't work. I went to return them like 2 days after Christmas, and they wouldn't take them. I get it, their policy exists so people don't take advantage - but I mean, I could plug the lights in right in the store and show them how they didn't work. They didn't care, they wouldn't take it back. Told me I would have to call the manufacturer. Not worth the hassle, I just tossed them out.
So then, why even bother with Lowe's? I guess if you need a nut or a bolt quickly, there they are. They have all the nuts and bolts you could choose from. But if it's something you need where quality matters, I would pass over them. They're not even competitive on price. Most of the tools you can find the same tool at Harbor Freight or on Amazon for 20% less. And those guys won't give you a hassle about returning them if they don't work. But if you need something immediately, well then sure, I guess they're worth a shot. Still, I think I would recommend checking in with the other local hardware stores first, if you can help it at all.

this store is so goofy. who made this business model .
can’t get any help finding items they have no clue where items are.
not one cashier working a regular register in the check out area .
no bags , i see customer checking out with 11 -12 small items well over 200 dollars , dumping them into their cars from the carts .
i don’t get the business model .
at least home depot offers you a plastic bag .

Store is great…unless you came here to shop of course. After walking all over the place to find the one thing I need I was kicked out of the isle because the employees needed to do some work in the next isle and block off the one I needed Because it was not safe. So I wasted about an hour of my life driving down here and searching the store for the thing I needed for nothing. The store is here to serve customers, not staff. I am an understanding person, but to not be given a minute to get what I needed because the staff stocking shelves comes first is ridiculous.

The Lowes in Brockton mass management did not treat me good . I was there to buy two log splitters that where on clearance. There where no tags on the them to say that where sold . I paid for the both of them with my Lowe's credit card. I said I would be back to pick them up . The next day Lowe's employee call my phone and said
That someone else bought them before me and there was a tag on them . That was not so because the female employee was with me and did not see any tags on them she checked because she said if there was she could not sell them to be. I asked to speak to the manager. He was not willing to help in any way asked him to see if he could locate one he said no . I asked for his name . He said he would not give it to me. Not happy at all . I have shopped at Lowe's for many years and never had a problem. I will never return to that store and I recommend others to do the same .

Good most of the time. We have gotten friendly and professional advice from the paint desk service reps. My husband and I were undecided on house colors and the rep was helpful without being obnoxious or nosy. Also they allow us to let our son run and explore the paint books which was really nice?
