So sad to see a place where I spent my childhood playing (and cultivating my love of) sports with Mr V and making friends and great memories turned into a place for pricey booze hounds to get their fix. Shame on Ledyard. How horribly sad! Do better Ledyard.

I first tried this store for its location as it was right on my way when traveling to a client's site but now always come here first because of its selection, knowledgable and friendly professional staff...who always ask if I want a bag. Most places don't do that anymore which is d**** How you gonna carry out several bottles plus a six pack? Keep up the great work folks! Thank you.

Made a purchase and enjoyed it. Bottle price was already much higher than retail but wanted it for an event. Went back to get another and they raised the price by 300. Not worth doing business with shady price gouging.

I stopped in to get a skinny girl Cosmo. First time visiting this place. It was clean. And there was a gentleman by the name of Jeremy that helped me find what I was looking for since it was my first time in the store. Quick to check out no issues and the rest of the staff was very friendly. Wish there was a larger sign pointing to the entrance of the store because I almost went down to the other end of the building because I didn't know where the entrance was. Other than that great store. And a lot of selection for those that are looking for something to warm up their cold winter evening.

Great selection, the new location is incredible! Very friendly and helpful staff with a wide array of knowledgeable recommendations. Best liquor store in town for craft beer.

I have several issues with Alumni Wine & Sprits. First, the newer counter person that works there (tall male and heavy set) is not professional. He moves at the pace of a snail when checking customers out and seems to be in his own world sometimes. He also has a habit of extensively chit chatting with certain customers as the line gets longer and longer. Second, the clerk did not stop a female from cutting the line and jumping in front of someone else to get checked out. The female who jumped the line was a sample person who had a little area set up near the register to give away free samples during the day. The free sample person did not say excuse me, just marched right up to the counter-- cut right in front of someone and bought something. It was towards the end of the day, so I guess the sample person was going home. The fact that Alumni does not appear to tell people who give away free samples of alcohol to respect customers who are shopping in the store is also not professional. I will no longer shop at this establishment. Don't need the rude treatment or unprofessional service. NO THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
