I once was a longtime annual renewing pro member, back when I could use my accumulated points to do so. I went to renew at this shop a few years ago and the cashier essentially redeemed my points in a way where they weren’t retrievable and I could only use them online. I never renewed pro again because of that.
More recently, I did a preorder at this store and they failed to have it at the store on time. I visited the store two times that day to give them a chance. I saw a box that had markings suggesting it could have been it on the back counter, but the cashier insisted they hadn’t come in yet, so I didn’t pry further. Instead I asked for a refund, and the cashier asked if I wanted to put that money toward something else. That’s hysterical after the store just failed to provide me what I paid for on the day I wanted it. I know the poor kid was probably trained to do that, but still, come on. I ordered it from Amazon on the spot and had it at my front door before noon the next day. Being able to do that showed me there’a no value in a GameStop preorder anymore; had I done it in the first place, looks like I’d have had my game on time.
So it’s partially my fault. I went back here again after the membership botch, which I still tell every other GameStop I visit about every time they ask me to sign up for membership. I went and thought the store could at least get a preorder right. That’s the fool me twice, shame on me.

We bought our son The Show 23 Nintendo Switch game for his birthday and they put the Show 22 into the case. When we have it to our son we saw it was the wrong game. Shame on this store!!! It was devastating and very upsetting to our son.

Quite frankly I'm not sure how this company still exists when you comare apples to apples. There are so many better options just simply using the Amazon app and you can buy everything substantially cheaper and have delivered here within a day. The only real benefit is if you're looking to trade in your stuff cause cause there's nowhere else to do it.

I came in for the Pro Days Sale. I provided my email and account info and wanted to pick up a game for the listed price. The sales person would not use the listed price and would only sell it at a higher price that he said was from the website. I just left the game there.

I had called asking if I could do a phone trade in and they told me they had more than enough to do my phone yet when I get to the location they said they didn't have enough cash on hand to take my trade in. I also had to wait a while for someone they didn't even ask me if I needed help. I expected more from them because I've been a customer for a long time but super unhappy with the service at this location.
