“This spring, I just happen to stumble upon this gem of a business. When all other companies I called said they were swamped and couldn’t help us, this company came to the rescue! We were looking for somebody who could help us with our engine that wouldn’t start and it was on our mooring at the lake. PJ came to the lake, pulled the boat out and brought it to his shop. He fixed the problem, was very communicative during the process and even relaunched our boat. Also, I can’t say enough nice things about Mary. She is the one who coordinates the job and schedules the maintenance. She was a sweetheart as well.
I found out that they do more than just repair engines. They are a one stop shop for our boating needs. We were able to get our boat detailed, the engine winterized, Acid wash of the pontoons, shrink wrap and that’s just to name a few. Mary kept me up to date on the process and made sure things got done right. PJ does a great job and delivered the boat himself to our home. I was very happy that I had found them on google. We will continue to use their services.”

When I made an appointment, Ben suggested a different tire that I wasn’t aware of that was very similar. It had as good or better ratings; was cheaper as well as having a rebate that they applied to my price and an additional mail-in rebate”

“In the Seinfeld episode “The Dealership”, Jerry tells Elaine that “finding an honest mechanic is better than finding a lost Saab.” Rarer still is finding a good, reasonable & honest mechanic or auto repair shop than BENNETT MOTOR WERKS in Litchfield, CT. I’ve trusted the Bennett family with servicing my 1999 Mercedes-Benz SLK230 since I became its second owner nearly 20 years ago. Bennett Motor Werks has performed ONLY necessary repairs and maintenance at my convenience and at a very reasonable price, especially compared to Mercedes dealers. My SLK runs as well, if not better, than when I purchased it in 2006 thanks to Bennett Motor Werks which has kept my German hardtop roadster affordable to own and enjoy. As far as Mercedes and other German vehicles are concerned, you would be hard-pressed to find a better auto repair shop than Bennett Motor Werks.”
