This place always seems on the edge of going out of business, and I haven't been in for a long time, but now it turns out that in order to get any discounts you have to download an app and go in to click a digital coupon. That is more than I'm willing to do so I'll just go to CVS instead

Ordered a prescription on a Friday and it still wasn't ready the next Wednesday. They close down inexplicably for four days over Memorial Day holiday and still didn't have it ready two days after opening back up. While I waited for the prescription, they failed to tell me that they weren't going to fill one prescription because it was "too soon." More waiting. Overall, horrible service. Will not be going back to Walgreen pharmacy when I have two other options within five minutes.

The pharmacy department of this Walgreens have been great in the Covid 19 vaccine distribution. For both of my appointments I arrived early thinking there would be a line and other issues. The layout of a line for pharmacy and another for vaccines was great. The staff was professional and moved efficiently getting the paperwork set. The pharmacist was a knowledgable and friendly, making sure I understood the process, the side effects and answered all the questions I had. The feel of the store is more like a mom/pop drug store rather than a chain, which I appreciate. I don't get many prescriptions but they have been helpful then as well. Clerks in the front are helpful and efficient. I have always been greeted and thanked for my business. Again, small store feel with lots of products that people need for a decent price. I have not found long lines here. Last but not least, I have witnessed people coming in with demanding and rude attitudes. Not once have I seen a staff member snap back or reply with rudeness. Rather, if they didn't have the medication or item requested, I watched the pharmacy staff call other Walgreens to help the person out. Good people.

If I could give a minus star I would. Tried to refill a script at least twice and each time it was not correct. Was told the doctor had written a script for the same medication but different delivery system and quantity. Find that hard to believe. Had a coupon for one and was charged $20. More Than the coupon stated it would be and was told it was because the cost of medications have gone up since the printing of the coupon. Find the techs grossly incompetent and at this point wonder about the whole operation. Just transferred my scripts to another pharmacy and am keeping my fingers crossed!

This Walgreens was formerly a Rite Aid before they were bought out, and nothing has changed. Mailbox is still out front, aisles are still in the exact same layout, and I would suspect most of the employees are the same people. Well, I kind of hope at any rate, it would be crummy thing to fire anyone over a name change. So it is what it has been, and now they're Walgreens store brand instead of Rite Aid. I suppose I have no grievances about this, but I find I was hoping for something a little more. Maybe something radical, like moving batteries to the school supplies aisle!

They really deserve one star, but that seems cruel in the time of the pandemic. This drugstore was a Rite-Aid until Walgreens took it over in late February. And about the time it officially became Walgreens the state moved into business restrictions. That meant, we believe, that a full re-stocking became difficult, and employees were stuck in their jobs. At least that's he way it seems because these employees are awful -- the reason we want to give this outlet one star. They have sounded resentful when we've been inside, they're not helpful, occasionally rude and just don't do their jobs well. (Exception for the pharmacists, who are the reason not to give up on this place.) The stock frequently doesn't match the sale flyers, and ... well, why bother when there's a CVS a hundred yards or so away? When the restrictions are lifted and we can return to a semblance of life before, we'll try it again here with fingers crossed. For now, yuck.
