Just perfect for my daughter's wedding party on August 10th. we had 6 cottages. clean and comfortable as well as private. I personally want to thank them for all their help and patience and professionalism putting up with me. Great staff as well.

Stayed early August 2024. Location is nice as it is a short drive to the beach and to town. However was very disappointed by how run down the cabins were. There was wood rot which had not been addressed. Toilet had difficulty and the shower head was the oddest I had ever seen.
I was also frustrated that although the map makes it appear it is possible to walk to the beach that is not the case as there is a rather large camp, with large fences between the cottages and the beach.

What a gem! We come back year after year! The cottages are absolutely adorable, very comfortable, and clean. The location is fantastic, so close to Hammonasset State Park, the beach, and shoreline dining. The owners are the best, they are kind, accommodating, and they remember us every year. We've stayed in several different cottages (both small and large) and have been happy with every visit! A perfect alternative to a crowded hotel. Easy parking, beautiful grounds. You won't be disappointed!Rooms: The cottages are ABSOLUTELY adorable. They have a rustic feel, but are very clean and cozy. Each one has its own flair/decor.The large cabins have a kitchenette (toaster, coffee maker, microwave, dorm fridge). There is an AC unit and electric heat, if needed. The area is peaceful and ability to open windows for fresh air is great. Each cottage (large and small) has a private bathroom.Nearby activities: Hammonasset State Park, Meig's Point Beach, Nature Center, shoreline dining with great views, Clinton Outlets (if you like to shop)Safety: Easy on-site parking which is only for registered guests, sidewalks to all cottages, outdoor lighting, very safe.Noteworthy details: A hidden gem, in my opinion. A great alternative to stuffy, crowded hotels.

Staff was very friendly & property was nice and maintained. Stayed in cottage #2 - seemed as though it was in the middle of repairs or updates were forgotten about. Half of the ceiling in the kitchen was painted, there was spackling on walls, etc. When we arrived, there were multiple big spiders on the bedroom ceiling & the shower was dirty. Bed was uncomfortable and the bed frame on wheels was unexpected and inconvenient. Some suggestions for improvement: finish repairs/renovations, provide extra towels in bathroom (only 2), provide tissues, add liner for shower as water gets all over the floor, update blinds to cover entire window.

Stayed in Cottage 3. Updates must've been made since previous reviews, since our mattresses were super comfortable. The outdoor furniture was also comfortable. I sat outdoors with the outdoor light off because, yes, there were many bugs since it was mid summer. I plan on rebooking next summer.

We stayed for 3 nights in the large room which is freshly renovated. Very pretty place, great and attentionated service. We enjoyed riding bikes (which are provided for the asking) to the beach which is very close and not overcrowded. Definitely a place to recommend!
