I can’t say enough positive things about the Madison Post Office. I recently applied for my passport. After 2 weeks it had not arrived for processing. I went to the post office to question this and Kay immediately began to track it down. She contacted me and let me know what had happened and continued to keep me updated. I can’t say enough about the customer service Kay provided to me. She assured me my passport would arrive within a couple of weeks.

I'm a veteran and my husband is still active duty. I think her name was Kuljit she was so kind and very helpful. I went through a whole ordeal with the DMV and needed to get documents to my husband whose TAD elsewhere for the next few months. She was reassuring and triple checked everything to make sure things would go smoothly. First thing that has during this entire process ? thank you ma'am! 5 stars all day

I needed to ship a large piece of luggage to New Zealand. The ladies at Madison post office were fantastic! They walked me through the particulars, each step in properly filling out the customs forms to ensure it gets to its final destination.Then I went back with 11 forms itemizing the contents and they went to work entering it all into their system. No complaints or fuss. Very capable, patient and knowledgeable. Amazing customer service l!!!I love the Madison CT Post Office!!!

It's a great post office with wonderful staff, but it closes much earlier than it states both on the door and on the website .its just after 4pm and the door is locked .

I went in today to get a relative’s passport application shipped & the two ladies were so helpful and friendly. I didn’t have to wait long either & they answered whatever questioned I had.One of the best USPS I came by!

The post office in Madison is the friendliest I have ever been in. The clerks are always careful and efficient, even during the holidays when the line stretches out the door. I am always impressed by the knowledge and experience shown by the postal employees. I have had some difficult International Packaging that they sorted out quickly.

For 20+ years my parents and I had no problems with this post office. It was well run and reliable. Even after I moved to a state with horrible USPS service (for real, worst of the 50 for delivery, I read later), I actually would call the Madison office to get answers to problems in another town and state!Delivery was also very good and reliable and on time. Unlike where I I've now, which is none of those things.

I understand that other reviewers would prefer a more automated experience but I really enjoy being able to have very friendly and enjoyable conversations with staff when I'm buying stamps or mailing packages. I enjoy the warmth of the people who work there And find it rare and valuable. I also get excellent service! I'm in at least once or twice a week because I have a PO Box.
