So I decided to drop my STi off to get paint corrected and ceramic. When I returned I was amazed with the work considering it was my first experience with him. He assured me I would be impressed. My go to place for work like this.Only guy that was able to get the black correct! Will do business again!!!

We’ve had our car detailed with Ryan multiple times and requested for same day service on two occasions. Both times, Ryan was able to accommodate us the same day. Our interiors certainly needed some TLC and Ryan and his team did a stellar job. Their service has always been prompt and they get every nook and cranny cleaned. We’ve always had a great experience and will continue to go to Ryan for our car detailing needs.

I highly recommended Groundwork Detailing. My work truck was in desperate need of a good cleaning, and they made it look great inside and out. Excellent attention to detail, easy to work with in terms of scheduling, and they even removed some surface markings I thought couldn't be fixed. I'll be back next year.

Ryan is a nice guy. I was in recently for a Bronze Package. This was the second time I used his services. Unfortunately, both times I left dissatisfied. I don't like excuses, especially when you're spending A LOT of money for a luxury, like cosmetic car care. I informed him of my dissatisfaction and he agreed to make it up (both times, second time damage was introduced via de-badging), but it's just time consuming, especially when the roundtrip to his shop is close to 90 minutes. I understand that he tries to put out frequent promos to ease the financial burden, but at the end of the day, you have to ensure your customers are satisfied. Keep in mind, both vehicles had less than 8k miles on them and were already in excellent condition (inside and out), which adds to the frustration.
UPDATE:
I didn’t ask for a discount. He frequently puts out promos on Facebook and I simply booked the services. My vehicles are pristine. There were a few scuffs on the very bottom of a rocker panel. No “gouges”, I’m very picky and wouldn’t buy a car in ok condition, plus I always buy direct from Toyota/Lexus because of longstanding relationship with their GM.
You pick the car up at night, everything looks great, next morning in the driveway, you will notice if Groundwork missed something.
Instead of excuses, just make things right so your business prospers. It’s a simple formula.

Had to change my review after the owner stole $999 from me and never returned it. After the last few jobs, the work quality hasn't been to par. Hires inexperienced people or kids. Cars come out terrible. Was better when he did the work himself.
I have screenshots of the whole conversation if you dare write a comeback on here. And don't give me that "I lost my phone, I'm only human". You were clearly avoiding me.

Edit: response to the owners reply.
Don’t worry i am not an ex employee and definitely not a competitor. I wash my own car and thats about it. I have plenty of nice vehicles that i would definitely want professionally done but you can read the rest of the review, again. I don’t understand why every business that gets an actual bad review think its an ex employee or a competitor? Im a business owner myself, not in detailing, but same concept. Customer service is customer service. If you cant own up to your legit bad review then you’re clearly doing something wrong. And i obviously there are different products but you do not seem to understand or just avoiding the fact that you are selling people a cheaper product than what you are advertising and quoting. And i said nothing about drop offs? So not sure what thats about. Anyways, read the review. Again, your own current and past employees have said terrible things. Thats more than enough to know how the place runs
I agree i was never a customer. Why? Because of the lack of communication and then finding out from RECENT employees about the product they use and being over charged. So yes i am not a customer and i never will be. I have been doing google reviews for years. I can tell a fake review easily. I’ll be sure to let everyone i know about this place at my retail store and among the community to stay away. As far as allegations? I have word from employees old and current that have said the same things that the article states when the owner was arrested. Yes that specific arrest is still under going but that doesn’t mean your current and past employees have already spilled the beans on how you guys run. You advertise you use carpro and other products of the same grade. Yet according to employees you do not use carpro or anything of that tier. You use a cheaper product. Thats just ceramic. And then insurance, again, you don’t/didnt have insurance the multiple times ive called granted i did not know at the tome
In recent light of what happened to Ryan i gotta say I’m appalled by the recent fake 5 star reviews that just happen to get posted as soon as he was arrested for driving a customers cars without consent but not even just that but endangering the lives of other drivers and fleeing police.
Ive tried contacting them on coatings and various details here and there. I found out from a few enployees that he only uses cheap products but advertises and CHARGES as if its the best products. False advertising, no insurance, driving customers vehicles, running from police.
This shop should be an absolute no go for anyone looking for a detailer. There are a couple right down the road from them that are trustworthy
0/5 if i could.

8/23/23 received car back from G&A Imports for fuel pump replacement, mileage 42,785 – last time car was driven before I had car towed back to G&A Imports on July 8th, 2024 – see receipt.
8/24/23 brain surgery -bone flap removal for infection. Wear protective helmet for 3 months.
Friday October 18th, 2023, paid Ryan Viera from Groundwork Detailing for 6 months storage $1075 – See receipt. November 1, 2023 to May 1, 2024
Ryan Viera picked up on 10/20/2023 at my Condo 205 the Meadows, Enfield, CT with 42,788 miles along with car cover and battery charger with instructions to start up weekly to bring up the temperatures and if he would take the car down the street monthly for a short ride to exercise the mechanicals.
11/22/2023 received a Carfax email from Service work at Musante Motors for oil change and Starter replaced – 45,975 miles – see receipt he never mentioned anything before I received the email from Carfax.
I called him immediately and told him not to drive anymore period. I guess I was not clear on the limitation for driving the car. He told me that I told him to take it on long drives. So, he took it to NY and Boston, etc. I made it noticeably clear to him that I did not want him driving except if he needed to move the car.
11/29/23 brain surgery – install prosthetic skull.
12/29/23 MA plates cancelled – see receipt.
2/8/24 brain surgery – remove prosthetic skull due to infection.

Ryan Viera called and was in the neighborhood and wanted to stop by. That is when he sprung it on me. He stated he had a fight with his girlfriend, and he got drunk and passed out in the car. I asked him if he hit anything and told me no. police responded and he could not provide any more details. The car was towed over the weekend in Hartford by Tom Amenta form Friendly Autobody and I needed to give permission to get it released. Which I did. I asked him why he was driving my car when as I told him I gave him explicit instructions not to drive my car period.
Hartford Police report 24-005321 Incident report 2/29/24 at 2:41:08 AM
Tom sent me photos and I noticed my front Carbon fiber splitter was missing. Tom also said it appeared to be leaking fluid. I contacted Ryan Viera and he did not remember hitting anything, but the car was towed from the meridian strip between the two lanes on Trumbell Ave.
I did not have a chance to go inspect my car with all the surgeries/recovery for terminal brain cancer, and Ryan Viera assured me it was in pristine condition, and he would be responsible for all damages. He stated it was going to Eagle Collision in South Windsor, CT for the bumper repair and front carbon fiber replacement.
In March, I asked Ryan if he could get my car emission inspected while at the body shop and he did. On 3/22/2024 I received another Car Fax, and the mileage was 49,936 miles. See Carfax receipt.
I made arrangements to tow from Groundwork Detailing to get back in my possession. The car was disgusting, not washed and detailed especially coming from a detail shop. The car was noticeably abused and neglected. Plates missing, carbon fiber front lip missing, damage from where it was ripped off. It appears that Eagle Collision never completed the repairs Rear diffuser installed but a hack job. No oil change in over 10,000 miles, no tread on the tires, scuffs, scrapes chips and scratches on the paint. Supercharger bearings are destroyed. The Active Body Control Hydraulic pump is shot. The car is not operable. Cracked wheel. Leaking suspension hydraulic accumulator. Missing my EZ Pass, battery charger. The underside belly pans missing or torn off.DO NOT USE THIS DETAILING BUSINESS. I purchased this car in 2011 with 33,000 miles on it and in 13 years I only put on less than 10,000 miles on it. Ryan Viera put 13,000 in 8 months. During this time I was fighting multiple brain surgeries for terminal brain cancer. He knows exactly what he did and has NO REMOR

Great professional work at Groundwork Detailing. Had my headlights restored to perfection, Ryan knows exactly what he’s doing.
