That wasn’t the best experience ever, I would even say it was awful.1. Car was dirty2. With strong odor and as I took it for long ride, it was an issue3. Car requested oil change, which isn’t something I would expect from car rental when you take a car with destination far from pickup spot4. Wheels not balanced which resulted into vibration starting at 60mph which is under speed limit for a lot of interstates5. Windshield had a dent and when rain started that was a moment when crack started to grow and it was terrifying to see how crack grows and wait for entire windshield to just crash (which didn’t happen)6. Pre inspection photos are taken on a dirty car and in poor quality, so I can’t check for either windshield was initially in place or not7. Driver window had some type of glue on it, and I had to wash it out just to make it work, and being able to open

I want to give them a zero star. I rented their car for the holiday. The car couldn't start. I had to call for road assistance twice in two different days until they were willing to let me get the car replaced. Hertz wasted me so much time and ruined the holiday plan of my family. The replacement experience is also terrible, very time consuming… and the employees were not willing to help. STAY AWAY from Hertz!

I saw all the negative reviews and I was scared to book. The price was lowest in town so I decided to take my chances. I arrived early and Kelly helped me out quickly and efficiently. The car was a bit dirty but I didn't care about that. I will go back to them for my car rental needs.

I am currently renting. Started my rental on 11/06, 4pm. from Hertz in Manchestor CT. At the store I was asked to sign some paperwork and I was not informed that I will be charged for Loss and Damage Waiver. Irony is, this is a business rental booked through my employer website and Hertz should know that it's a business rental and not charge Loss and Damage separately. This waiver comes free of cost with Business rentals. When I called the store they told me they cant do anything and transferred me to an IVR where I had to hold the phone for 15 mins. Then I called the store to change my vehicle as its uncomfortable for my pregnant wife(I was ok for an upgrade), but they dint have any vehicle. Hertz is the biggest car rental in the US. I am a Gold Rewards member and I have decided not to rent with Hertz anymore because of this hopeless experience. I rent quite a lot for Business and everytime Hertz gives me some issues, since they were minor in nature, I didnt provide feedback/review, but this is not acceptable.Hertz, you need to better your Softwares/Applications and Customer Service for everyone and not just for Gold/Gold Plus or President Circle members.The 1 point I gave. was for the service from the store to pick me from my home to the store, that was excellent.I am NEVER RENTING Hertz AGAIN.

Kelly is incredibly helpful! Kelly was patient and answered all of my questions before and after renting.I already preferred Hertz for a variety of reasons but now I prefer this specific location. It’s small but efficient and the staff were happy to help!Thanks again to Kelly!

Love the location in Manchester I don’t know her name but the female who runs the location goes above and does a tremendous job at customer service and getting you in best car and great rates that she can. Definitely a happy customer would recommend anyone to come to this location if you want to be satisfied and get your money worth would like to thank entire staff nothing but respect. Jeremy!!

Back with ANOTHER Review a month later this place tried charging me $901.46 DO Not Give Them your card information they will steal it and try to charge you even after you have already dropped off the car. This place has two stars but it really should be shut down. The customer service is trash and they will try try to mix up the story on what they tell you. DO NOT TRUST THEM! I am truly disgusted with this place and it shocks me that they are even open and still bringing in customers. I honestly can say I rather empty my entire life savings on a brand new car from the deal then give them a dollar for a rental.

Horrible, made an online reservation, got to the store wasn’t as I thought, they gave me a number to call and when I did they told me they couldn’t fix it. Mind you this was 15 minutes after leaving with the car. I turned around and let them know never mind I don’t want the rental and would like a refund and they still charged me for the whole day. Never again Hertz.

Made a reservation online and upon trying to pick it up I was told they had "no vehicles" and was told it's because I tried to make a reservation 2 hours before. Not planning on having my car stolen and needing a rental in a pinch I didn't appreciate the attitude and unhelpfulness from the staff here. They then told me they'll have a drop off in a few hours they would call me for and I never received a call. You're better off walking to your destination than to deal with the service here

The service at this location is absolutely horrible. My fiancé and I rented a Tesla. (He is 27 years old. I am 24.) I had previously rented a few cars being under the age of 25 and I recall being told that the payment needed to be put on a credit card because I was under 25. I was told once I was 25 I could pay however I wanted to. My fiancé tried to pay for the car when we got there and they told him he had to use a credit card and it had to be in his name. He didn't bring a credit card because he did not think he needed it. Nowhere was it listed on the website. They said there was nothing they could do. The information was not listed in an obvious place on the website or rental confirmation. You think it would've been since you can typically pay for a car in any way you wish when you're over 25. If they had a special policy for teslas it should've been made obvious. Anyways, Instead of honoring the price we got for booking the car on a hertz special ($200 for 6 days.) They tried to sell us a car for triple the amount. They did nothing to accommodate us and were extremely rude when I asked any questions about any policies or anything. Fat middle aged woman was the one who was on her worst behavior that day. Would never rent from them again.

Unfortunately, the reservation I made was not completed because other rentals were not returned on time.Lettie (not sure of spelling) tried to help us out but couldn't meet our need for a specific time. She made a few phone calls and worked to help, but we had to get a car from a different company. She was doing her best and we appreciate her effort.

For such a small location I don't understand why they have issues. Customer service is lacking. I'm not sure if it's the fact they don't have enough people. Trying to get somebody on the phone is nearly impossible. When you finally do get somebody on the phone they leaving on hold before the line drops. FRUSTRATING.....Personal items go missing...
