So it's been two months after escalated calls to 1 800 number. Store manager and management team still refuses to contact me. Placed an order got delivered. The driver smashed into my house and just started throwing my order everywhere. Which damaged product this store just doesn't care won't bother to take calls or speak to my in person. Absolute joke of a management team. 1 800 number isn't much help either. Will never shop at lowes again.

They closed my account because I missed a car payment. My car is not financed with Lowe's, nor was the car anywhere near repossession. I have no delinquent accounts at all, but Lowe's credit closed an account that had a 2 dollar balance and was always in good standing. They are making me wait 30 days before they issue a decision on my dispute. I find the assessment overly harsh for one missed car payment. As a divorced mother and homeowner, this is humiliating and unreasonable. I went into my account to schedule a payment for my 2 dollar balance and saw i had no credit limit available. I attached the photo as proof of how harsh and arbitrary their credit company is. Sad because as a single parent and homeowner I felt more secure knowing I could address an emergency home repair if I needed to. I was actually advised to get a line of credit after I bought my house. One missed car payment and Lowe's cancells my card. They didnt even send the email about closing my account until I contacted them. NOW I have an email about the cancelation, it arrived an hour after I disputed the closing. Funn how the email for the bill went right to my inbox without me having to ask.

*LOWE'S DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER, GO ANYWHERE BUT LOWE'S FOR YOUR HOME IMPROVEMEMT NEEDS!* (P.C. Richard & Son is right around the corner with good customer service that is lightyears apart from the lack of care you will get from Lowe's. Home Depot is also right across the street where you'll be better off.)
I will try to accurately convey Lowe's horribly conducted business over a 2.5 month span that left me empty handed except for months of wasted time and money down the drain, but 2.5 months of horrible customer service is hard to detail in full with a character limit.
I bought a new washer/dryer from Lowe's on Dec. 2, 2024. I specifically waited for this time to capitalize on black friday deals. As a new home owner, I'm no expert on appliances so I seeked help from the team of Lowe's "experts". I showed them pics of my current stackable unit that I wanted to replace and they sold me on a new unit upgrade. 2 weeks later on install day, we discovered the unit was not compatible with the gas dryer hookup at my house and the unit had to be exxhanged. I was disappointed that the Lowe's employees never mentioned there were 2 potential hook up options despite me making it clear I was very unfamiliar with the difference between appliances and installation processes.
Lowe's refunded me for the original unit but didn't refund the protection plan/haul away of old appliances. I had to fight with customer service to get a refund for a protection plan on a returned item and haul away of appliances that still sat in my house.
I bought the same unit but with a gas dryer hookup instead. I lost the black friday sale price that I had specifically waited for as the sale had ended and Lowe's would not honor that I originally purchased during the sale. During the new sale, Lowe's team members discovered they were out of stock of the LP gas conversion kit nozzle that is necessary for install. They directed me to Amazon where the part was available and instructed me to buy it from Amazon to ensure I have all the parts needed for install. I followed Lowe's instruction and they charged me for the new appliance and installation fees and I also ordered the missing part from amazon per Lowe's instruction.
Weeks later, just before my new install date, I receive a call from Lowe's telling me they can't perform my install because not all the parts were provided by Lowe's and therefore is a liability issue. Keep in mind, the only part they did not provide was the nozzle they didn't have in stock and instructed me to order elsewhere and assured me it would be fine. After pleading my case to customer service, they assured me install would go on as scheduled. A few days before install, the 3rd party install team calls me to tell me they can't install for the same liability reason. I explain to them that I just had this conversation with Lowe's and they assured me everything was okay to go on as scheduled. The install team said Lowe's never communicated that to them and so I was removed from their schedule. The new soonest time they could install was first week of Feb. Another disappointing turn.
By the first week of Feb. I never heard back from Lowe's or the install team despite numerous calls and left voicemails asking for updates. I call Lowe's customer service who now tells me again they can not install for the same liability reason we went over before. It had now been 2 months since my original purchase and I was not even close to having my new appliance. I canceled my order and was helped by P.C. richard, a breath of fresh air.
To recap, Lowe's sold me an appliance they did not have all parts in stock to install, let me pay for installation, instructed me to buy a part elsewhere and then told me they can not install the part they instructed me to buy elsewhere. After months

I do not want people walking up to me and selling me on things. 3 separate people today tried to sell me services I did not inquire about. There are enough hardware stores and lumber-yards in the area. You have just made me their customer.
When I complained to someone they told me to call corporate. I informed them they are my liason to corporate, they basically laughed at me.

Storm door purchased and installed by Lowe’s. Since day one this door won’t close. The installation team returned but could not fix the problem. A month later it’s unanswered emails and lengthy phone calls ended with “Let me look into this. I’ll give you a call back.” I can’t even count the number of staff who’ve lied to me. I wonder if they’re trained to do this?
The last straw; an email from Lowe’s, telling me to read the manual!
Time to call my attorney and Channel 3.
Buyer beware.

I was extremely disappointed with the customer service at this Lowe's location. I was unable to use a store credit that they themselves had issued, simply because I don't have a driver's license. The staff, including Eric, were unhelpful and indifferent, with Eric even smirking and saying, "That's the policy, nothing I can do."
I asked to speak with a manager, but after waiting for about 10 minutes, no one came to the front. The initial staff at the service desk showed no willingness to assist and seemed uninterested in resolving the issue.
I also reached out to customer service on the phone, speaking with Cynthia and James (the manager), but they offered no solutions either. When I requested to speak with a District Manager, I was told they would “put in a request” but couldn’t guarantee a call back.
This experience has left me frustrated and disillusioned. In comparison, Home Depot offers much better customer service and a superior selection. I won’t be shopping at Lowe’s again.

Lots of stuff the other big store doesn't have and competitive prices. Store is cleaner and more organized. They also have more items that are in stock in comparison to other stores with empty shelf space where there should be product.
