This is the only Indian store we shop from since moving to Hartford i.e. since 2021. The staff is friendly. They have a wide variety of snacks, frozen food, fresh produce, spices, flour, grains, etc. From the storefront signs it seems that they are expanding into the adjacent shops so hoping the shopping experience will only get better.

The best part of this store is they don’t hurt the sentiments of Hindus by openly advertising Halal and beef products. I prefer this over Apna Bazar.

This was my first, and surely my last visit. When you first enter the shop, they look at you as if you’re a criminal. If you ask about groceries, they don’t answer kindly. No one there looks happy to have customers in their store. Very uncomfortable experience. Did not feel welcome. Not recommended. Nicer alternatives in West Hartford.

I feel like the owner is already giving up since Apna opened. This was my go-to place. My most recent trip was not the greatest. Store looked extremely disheveled, tons of out of stocks, a completely abysmal produce section with rotting and slimy tomatoes. Customer service has always been a little on the rude side especially if you're not indian but the cashier was especially rude today. If you want to keep the business going, clean up the store and stop treating paying customers like they're a burden.
