We adopted Misha (formerly August) on 2/17 and he is the sweetest little man. Our experience at Save All Dogs was absolutely fantastic and I have recommended this place to others I know that are thinking of adopting. He was coughing when we got him and one of the employees/volunteers said he was likely working through the remnants of some kennel cough that he had already taken antibiotics for and he’s doing WONDERFUL with his cough almost completely gone now. They offered that we could foster him and they would cover any veterinary expenses during that period but we didn’t want them to spend more than necessary as we know part of adopting is financial responsibility and they have already done their part and other animals need their help, so now it’s our turn to care for all his doctor visits. He loves to run, jump, play with our kitty, give kisses and is SO SMART. He’s food motivated but even more so he LOVES to be told he’s a good boy!!

I have nothing but good things to say. I’ve adopted 3 dogs (Asher, Kuzco, Escobar) and 1 cat (jynx) from this place, and all of them have been absolutely incredible. Thank you to the staff for helping me add to my family. I’ll definitely adopt from here again.

Sorry, the comment was not for this place, it was for The Dog House, I don't know why it appeared on this site, a thousand apologies.

We adopted 2 kittens from Save All Dogs recently and had a great experience both times. The staff is friendly. They genuinely care about each and every animal in their care. They were very upfront about one of the kittens having a possible eye issue, and told us everything they knew before we met the cat. We ended up adopting him, knowing he possibly has health issues. The animals seem well cared for and are such loves. Rescue pets are the most lovable appreciative creatures, even if they have health issues. They still need love and care. Thank you for rescuing all of these animals!

We got our awesome dog Kingsley from Save All Dogs and couldn’t be happier with our pup. Make sure you go to the right when you go in the main building. We were confused when we walked in and thought the main store and the rescue were the same place - they most definitely are not.Kingsley had almost been starved to death at the place they rescued him from. We can’t thank Save All Dogs enough for getting him out of there so he could join our family. He is such a love and has brought us so much joy.Check them out if you’re considering getting a dog or cat. They’re great!

We absolutely loved our experience here!! It's tucked behind a pet store, so be sure you're in the correct spot when you go. You'll need to go through the (unaffiliated) pet store via an interior door and then the adoption magic begins! We adore our pup, adopted at 8 weeks and rescued from down south. They operate on very minimal margins and all adoption fees ($50-$700ish) are directly related to what it costs to drive vans down south and back up with the cats and dogs they save as well as initial vet visit, deworming, shots etc.The staff and volunteers have a passion for saving animals from kill shelters and unsafe living situations and it shows when you visit. We fell in love with our pup and the overall mission, and have since referred several friends.Don't forget, they are not the pet store in front! This is strictly a non profit, most of the adoptions on their website are about $500 which baffles me because of all that needs to be done to get these animals here safely and fed and vetted while they wait for their forever homes.

I currently work here at the rescue, I've adopted a puppy recently and she is just so sweet and healthy, she's growing fast and gets along well with our other pups at home! The adoption process was straightforward and I'm so glad to be able to adopt a dog and save a life ❤️ Us here at the rescue are dedicated to finding each pup and adult the perfect home, so please come on in and adopt a dog, save a life!

For such a small operation, Save All dogs makes such a huge difference! I know many people who have gotten their dogs there and we have gotten both of ours (a puppy and an adult) and they are AMAZING!!

If you're looking to adopt an animal, I'd refrain from this rescue because they charge $150.00 for cats, tell you they're fixed, then your cat goes into heat and they take no responsibility for it.I paid $150 assuming the information they told me was accurate about my cat being spayed. When I contacted them, they said to "read the contract" there is no refunds on adoptions and they pass along info received from the shelters. It didn't cost them $150 to house this cat for the 6 days they had her. This place is for profit. I wouldn't pay $150 for a cat that isn't fixed. Their resolution? They gave me a voucher to go to one of their vets *with horrid reviews* to get $50 bucks off a spay.. the closest vet to me is 55 minutes. Real sweet of them to offer, yet another inconvenience.Buyer beware. I will never step foot in this rescue again, nor will I recommend anyone to this rescue. Bad business practices and dishonest. Maybe don't say an animal is altered unless you have verified? I know, I know, makes too much sense, let's continue to lie and bamboozle customers.Edit*The rescue has prices listed of $150.00 per cat, there was no discount as previously stated... cats are $150, not $300.Also, there are 3 offices to their vet, clearly Tolland is not the closest, Ashford is, their reviews are terrible. If you're going to SELL an animal and you are going to state the animal is fixed, you should, AT THE VERY LEAST, confirm the animal is fixed. You defend your "vet" that is so awesome, yet they couldn't be bothered to confirm the animals are fixed. Does my cat have the rabies vaccine?? "Provided a low cost spay/neuter", you literally emailed me a voucher for $50.00 off a $400.00 spay to an office that is over 50 minutes away, with bad reviews. Where is the favor? You are liars! Period. I didn't need you to tell me to go elsewhere, nor did I need your permission to go elsewhere, I already stated I would be, and not because I am being a rude customer, but because I feel you have deceived me, you jumped quickly to tell me there was no refunds on adoption, which is indicative that you do this/have done this to a lot of people, and now you respond to a poor review that your rescue has earned, and you're still acting like you're the hero.Bad, bad business. Buyer beware!!

I recently adopted a puppy named Bingo, everyone at the shelter was really nice and helped us find a dog we liked. Unfortunately, after adoption, we discovered that she has a severe case of pneumonia, which originated from kennel cough. Since bringing her home, she has had no contact with other dogs. However, our vet mentioned that since she was housed with other puppies at the rescue, they might be at risk too. I wanted to share this information to prevent others from facing similar challenges since the vet bills have been quite costly and she may need 24/7 in patient care if this worsens. I wouldn’t want anyone bringing home a sick dog that could possibly infect other pets in the house which is why I am sharing this information. We love Bingo and are getting her the treatment she needs but due to the severity of the pneumonia it will take awhile for her to heal completely. Looking at the reviews it seems like this is not the first time this has happened. This may just be something she picked up from where she was rescued or something she caught at the shelter either way we are glad we caught it in time but someone should’ve noticed the symptoms if she had a proper checkup.

After reading all these reviews and the response from this place, I will definitely go elsewhere to adopt. Pretty sad when a non profit turns out to be for profit.

This is such a well organized, clean, friendly, and very caring rescue. We have two rescues (Prada and Susie Q) and love them both ❤️ so much. We took our dogs to the vet, and when the vet heard where the dogs were from even she praised the rescue facility. It's so great to see them not only saving lives but also being caring and kind about it as well.

As for all the poor reviews about this and Save All Dogs I can’t even begin to understand most of them. I bought Riley my German Shepard puppy in the beginning of the summer from The Dog House, the price was just under what German Shepard puppies were going for everywhere I looked and Riley was happy and healthy. Was the lady that worked there a people person? No, but she was very helpful and nice. They are clearly severely understaffed as with thousands of business’ across the US right now. Iv now owned Riley for months with zero health or personality issues and zero complaints about either place. People be sure to understand that these places charge just the minimum to stay running and in business. They take in dogs from horrible situations and so sometimes the dogs aren’t in the best shape. Be responsible read the health bill and read the paperwork. All of the complaints I saw both business have tried to be responsible and mend.
