I have gone to like every thrift store in CT and this has gotta be the worst one yet. I have gone 3 times and each time is such a disappointment. Prices are astronomically high and the clothes are not even good. Would recommend plenty of other stores over this one.

Eh. It was okay. My experience wasn’t too bad until the woman monitoring self-checkout wouldn’t stop watching me as I scanned my items and even came over, removed what I was scanning from my hands and proceeded to scan all of my items for me as if I wasn’t capable or planned on stealing stuff. Lol. Anyways, I’ll stick to the Newington location! Much better stuff and they don’t make you feel uncomfortable or profiled.

Unfortunately greed ruins everything. This place used to be a genuinely good thrift store, but in the last year I've watched their selection dwindle and their prices sky rocket. $8 for a shirt, $15 for a sweater, $60 for a jacket... nothing under $5 anymore. For a massive corporation that literally gains all of its products for free, no production cost, no overhead, literally donated items that they don't even have to clean, and you're telling me they're selling clothing at list prices? Capitalist piggies

Terrible store. They were running a special sale where if you texted the number you'd get a 25% coupon send to you. I did the exact instructions and it did not work so I asked one of the workers and they were friendly and said i'll ask a manager. A woman comes over and says "Don't worry about it, we will just override it and we will put it in there for you." I finish scanning everything and another woman ( middle aged lighter brown hair in braids) comes over and says hello and was initially friendly and then I mention that 2 workers said they would put the coupon for me. She looks at me and doesn't believe me. I show her on my phone and she tells me I don't know what i'm doing. I show her again and she says i'm wrong etc.I explained to her that they would override for me. She says "Nope you did it wrong" then she asked one of the workers if they said they'd override it and they said "Yup we told him that" and then she said "Well i'm not doing it because he did it wrong" and then starts yelling at me at this point. I said screw this and I walked out. She continues to say "He didn't do it right" to all the workers and was extremely rude and unprofessional. I wish I caught her name but her behavior is completely unacceptable. The prices are also quite high and nothing is properly tested. I will never ever go back to this store. Horrible unprofessional experience!

need to update their staffs responsibilities because the way of restocking is very unsafe unless the store isn't busy. can come off as unprofessional to many

I used to be a big fan of Savers. However, the pricing at this point is comparable to buying clothing new. Savers receives its donations for free so I'm not sure why they feel the need to resell things for so much. The majority of the sweaters were over $8 when they used to be $3. One piece of home decor was being sold for $10 when it had a homegoods sticker selling it for $5. I've seen dollar tree items being sold for up to $5 each.

It used to be enjoyable. It used to be fun. But as of late, I don’t like it anymore. I noticed near the toy aisle. When the carts come out with the tubs full of new items there are a certain set of customers that are consistent with standing by the door and blocking the cart for other customers with their own cart and laying practically on top of the bins so that you can’t get in there to look at anything. I’ve also noticed that there are people that are coming in droves of two and three to block you from getting into where you want to look. I do believe that there is a couple that comes in there that Re sells at a flea market, because I’ve seen their vendor stall before and they know one of the people rather two of the people that work at this particular location because I see them on their phones all the time and then I see them talking to each other every time I’m there it’s the same people so someone is helping them that works in the store to get product ahead of anyone else making an unfair to every shopper .
