My experience with the Manchester branch was disappointing. They have a teller who wants to do everything very quickly and does not listen to you, they could not solve my problem and my doubts about a transaction that appeared in my account. As a client of more than 17 years I was surprised that the branch could not solve my problem and they told me that the telephone assistants have more power than them and they left me waiting for more than 15 minutes on a phone call that never came through. Why have a branch opened by Webster Bank spending on tellers and managers if the only thing they can do is make deposits and withdraw money when that can be done through the ATM. For me my experience was a joke and a waste of time.

Since opening my account at Webster, I’ve had nothing but problems. Currently writing this review while I rot waiting to be helped. Plan on taking the day off before visiting this Webster Bank. They seem understaffed, which I can understand. Regardless, these employees are not accommodating to customers. Everyone in line has a puss face considering they’ll be here until the sun goes down. Save yourself the time and open a new account somewhere else!

Yamil Gonzalez is an awesome associate, great customer service wonderful attitude and very respectful. We really need more people like him . I really appreciate the way he helped me out . Highly recommend if you need any help. Great person.

I stopped at the drive thru teller yesterday and was a little confused by the automated system on the left side. I was having some difficulty with it when a God sent emerge from the bank and came to help me. Her name was Gianna, and she was incredible. She helped me through every stage of the process and did it with a beautiful attitude and wonderful smile that I could almost see through her mask. Not only did she help me with the automated teller machine, but she also help me with my Webster investment contacts. She is a gift, hold onto her and cherish her!

I LOVE the people who work at the Webster Bank on Main Street in Manchester. I have been going there for many years and many of the people who have been there for a while know me by name and have become friends.

I have always had a good experience at the bank. The tellers are always helpful and investment and customer service personnel are always knowledgeable and helpful.

I'm a long time customer & have always had great service. I have to come in to see them several times a year to renew a few very old IRA CD's that expire every 2 years, if you don't physically come in to renew them the automatic renewal is at a much lower interest rate. I'm not sure if other banks do the same. They tried to market me on converting these IRA's to more risky non-insured investments. I listened to their pitch & went home & Googled the info, turns out lots of people have been "had" by these Ponzi scheme type investments (something about "betting the market won't drop by more than 5% or 10% in any 3 month period"). In all fairness they did warn me my options were limited if I wanted short term gains & am only investing relatively small amounts (no I'm most certainly not a "1%-er" lol).

Today I went to the Branch on Main Street in manchester Ct. The associates that were working with me were no help at all. I had my wife's debit card and was trying to make a withdrawal. I was told that since I was not on the account I could not be helped. I left the Branch and had to drive to my wife's job a town over to have her write me check for the amount need for our bills. When I returned to the Bank I was help by a different teller. She was older and limping. She was having a hard time with the machine and no one was helping her. The First Lady that helped me was arguing in front of clients about the line and how she needs the help clients and not do the work of another associates. They went back and forth in front of customers and was completely unacceptable. I work at a major retailer and we pride our selves to have great customer service. I think the team at that branch need more training in customer service.I will never recommend Webster bank to any friends and family. If I could rate it a 0 I would.

I was just moved to town. So I wasn't dressed nicely that day , but I went to the bank and they served every single walk in after me but me. 35 minutes gone by and a bank rep come when they've no ones there but me and there's 4 people working. Needless to said they told me my name and social numbers is not matching? Huh what???? I have been using this information for my entire life.well I went to another one different bank and yet they were happy to get my business

TL:DR- Nice at first, turns out Terri O' Clair neglected to do half of what she was required to do Came in to set up a new account, and the woman at the desk, Terri O' Clair was friendly and helpful. She seemed to know what she was doing. However, after going home, I encountered several issues with my account. After calling customer support, I found out that she had neglected to give me my online information and did not walk me through how to use it, which is required, along with not providing me with an ATM card, or asking for several other identification I had. Now, after spending an hour or so on the phone with CS, I have to go in once again to straighten all this out. Overall, don't come here if you plan to actually use your account that night.
